Stories December 3, 2008 I believe this has been the longest since I have update this site. We had a busy summer then fall came in and we were still pretty caught up with different things everyday. The boys started tae kwon do over the summer , they loved it. Unfortunately we had to take them out because of a schedule in the conflict with work. I do hope they can start back soon. Adam has been three for a while now, he finished potty training in early August, so he's a big boy now. He has yet to stop the thumb sucking, I need to try to ween him from that soon before it takes a toll on his teeth. Other than that he is progressing beautifully in his abcs and 123's, he is just absorbing every thing around him. Ethan is doing amazing, he suprises me everyday at how brilliant he is, he loves to learn and just takes everything in. He will be starting school in the new year, that will be an experience for the both of us. I am not too sure how I will handle him going to school. He's been with me for almost five years now. We'll see how that goes when the time comes. We are all excited about the new year can't wait, this has been a good one so far. It's coming to an end though. Hope you all have a safe new year! July 10, 2008 We had Adam's cake on Tuesday, he was excited, especially with all of the presents, he did not know which one to play with first, we was up extra late playing with them. We went to a plaza with publix in it today and he says "I'm getting another birsday cake". He rememebered when we stopped to pick his cake up from. As he opened his presents he made alot of comments like, "that is nice", very beautiful, etc, it was so cute. It was alot of fun watching him so excited. I am almost finished uploading pics, I am up to late June, I will be finished in a couple of days, the rest of the pics are in my camera still so I may need a little while to get the out, we have quite a few things to do but I will try to make time before the week is up. July 6, 2008 Today Adam turns three years old, he's a big boy now, he says "fwee" can't really say three yet. Let's see, I will give a quick time line of the past months, January was Ethans b-day and Kassie visited, we took the boys to Ollie Koalas for Ethan's birthday, they had a great time, it was really crowded and Adam was acting up a little when he kept him close by, he could have easily gotten lost but he would not understand that. They still had fun but we need to go back on a week day. Ethan also had a Diego theme birthday, he was really excited about his cake and presents. In the beginning of February we visited West Palm Beach, the kids met some of my old friends, had a great time, we stayed we aunty Mirna and Uncle Imtaz. The second week of Feburary I got my first line infection and was admitted to the hospital, I was put on Vancomyacin, in which I was allergic to and got even more sick on it, I eventually got better and decided to go on another treament for my condition, it failed so I had to go back to the Flolan, which was done in mid May, so from the second week of February to mid May I was in and out of the hospital. Chad took the boys in March to see the Bull Show, they had a good time, Adam was a little too young to really enjoy it, maybe next time. We moved out of our place in the first week of June, staying with Grammie for the summer, we had plans to move to South Florida but we've decided not to, the second week of June we took an almost two week trip to, Palm Bay, Pt St. Lucie and Fort Lauderdale. It was awesome. Not enough time to do everything but it was still fun. The kids got to see alot of family from their dads side. Ethan hung 0ut with his cousin Kaleb, he had not seen him in about two years. They played so well together. Ethan did not want to go back home so we left him there for a couple of days, then he decided he was ready to come home. Kassie came to spend time with us and brought her friend along, it was fun with five kids. Kassie will now be staying with us again, Ethan is excited, he's always asking about her. I am sure CJ is excited as well, he's always wanting her to come back to live with us. She is starting high school, so we are trying to get a place so she can go to a brand new high school. We will have Adams cake in a couple of days, because of Chad's work schedule we were not able to do it today. He will also be going for his three year well check in the next week, Ethan will be visiting with the pediatrician as well, he needs more shots. They both also have their dentist appointments coming up.I am sure I left out a series of events but I don't really want to write a book, so I'll keep it short, and try to update more often. We will be moving into our place in mid August so it may be a little while again before I get a chance to update, I will try my best though, thanks for visiting our site : )
July 1, 2008 It's been about six months since I last updated this site, I have not taken the time out at all to update, I have been meaning to, so I will now. Alot has happened in that six months, I've spent a couple of months in the hospital, in and out for a while, It was difficult for the boys and for me more probably. I will post pics from the past months. Adam will be three years old in less than a week, I can't believe it, time is going by so quickly, I don't even have a baby anymore. They are both becoming very independant. Ethan is reading and spelling very good, he's also doing math, adding and subtracting, Adam is learning to write, he knows his abcs, he's learning to recognize the letters also. He counts really well. They are both growing up way too fast. Pictures and more to come in the week. January 13, 2008 It has been months since I have updated this site, alot has happened in that time. I am still doing ok with the new meds, the boy are just getting bigger and smarter by the day, we went down to south FL so they got to spend time with their paternal grandparents, hopefully Adam will remember them for a while now. Ethan will be four years old in one week. Where has the time gone, I can't beleive I have a four year old, he was just a baby. Kassie was here with us for a while. The kids had a very merry christmas, Adam opened one gift and that was it for him, he did not seem to care for anything else, he seemed a bit overwhelmed, Ethan did not mind opening his own and Adams. We went to Historical St. Augustine, the Ripleys museum, the boys very very good there, I think it was a little scary for them. I will try to upload pics so you can all see. Until next time, Enjoy! November 11, 2007 Time is going by pretty quickly these days, I spent a week in the hospital, started my new treatment, lots of side effects, hopefully they will pass soon, then when I was released I got sick from the kids, I guess just about everyone is getting the flu, so I did and I had to go back to Gainesville to get some tests done to make sure it was not my line that's got an infection, so far it looks good. Adam got sick the day before I went into the hospital and Ethan got sick the day after I came home, they are both doing well now, I'm not that well as yet. On the third day of the month we welcomed a new family member, baby boy Eesa was born. The boys now have a new cousin. They were amazed by him, he's so tiny, although he was over eight pounds. Adam was ready to bring him home from the hospital. Ethan is doing extremely well with his reading, so well Adam wants to do it also. As soon as I am up and going again I will try potty training Adam again, hopefully he will want to by now. October 28, 2007 It's been about a month now since I've last updated. The boys and I spent last weekend by Grandma's. She had a dinner on Saturday, we got to see lot's of family and on Sunday we went to a picnic where the boys had lot's of fun with their cousins, they even got to ride horses which was the high light of thier day. I will post pics. Ethan is reading by himself, it's been a while now actually and he's practicing everyday. Adam is doing great, we went for their check ups, he's way above average for his height and just about average for his weight. Ethan is also tall for his age and a couple of pounds under average for his weight. Other than that they are both doing excellent, the weather has been great over this past month so as soon as I get on new treatment we will be spending alot more time outdoors. Until next time, bye! September 27, 2007 The weather has been very wet for the past couple of weeks. We don't get to play outside too often. We are looking into preschools for Ethan to start soon. We visited one today but Chad did not like it so we will look at more before we decide. I want to start him off at one day a week since he's never been away by himself but most preschools don't offer that, they have the two day program. I am still not sure yet, but I know it's time he needs to build his social and indepdant skills. He will be four in a few months. Otherwise he's doing amazing, he's spelling words and writing like a pro. He catches on very quickly. He loves to be on the computer. We are always catching him at my desk on one of the computers, he's learning very quickly how to work them. Adam is always in the fridge. He loves to eat, he's still so skinny, I don't know where all that food goes. He's learning alot from Ethan. He also loves to watch television, I will turn it off and he turns it back on as soon as I walk away. He does not like to clean up his toys, because Ethan is always cleaning up that spoiled him but he's old enough to help now, he even makes the most mess with his legos and says he can't clean up. He now sits in the naughty chair for two minutes when he misbehaves or throughs tantrums. He's learning to count and read the aphabet with the constant help of Ethan. September 8, 2007 It was a rainy day today, not hot at all. It's been a while since I've updated pics, I will in a minute. I took the day off today, had a PH support group meeting. Yesterday we spent the morning at Tunnel and Tumblez, the boys had fun, so much that Ethan did not want to leave. It was the first time we've been there and looks like we'll be going back again soon. I have yet to put myself on a schedule with work and the kids. Hopefully soon we'll be back in a routine, although at times I think that's never going to happen with all the appointments and things to do, we'll see. I've been looking into schools for Ethan to start, I found a private home school that will start him in kindergarten, which I'm happy about but I'm not sure if I should...he's just growing up too fast, I'm still considering it, yet to make a decision. The boys are getting bigger and smarter everyday, time is going by too quickly and more so now that I've started working again. August 19, 2007 It's been a long time since I've last updated this site, things have been a bit crazy or I should say busy. I've started back working again. Training has kept me very occupied for the last month. Chad went to basic training and came back also, there were some complications with that, so he started back working also. On Friday we took the boys to the lake at Camp Blanding, they had a great time, Ethan even told me I forgot to bring home his sand castle that he made. School is starting tomorrow for CJ. This summer went by very quickly. The boys are doing great, Adam is a regualar chatterbox now. Ethan is still on his learning to read journey, he's doing great.
