Boy, Do I remember what I was doing at about this time, one year ago today! Alison and Zack were welcoming their very own little miracle into this world, Braden. For as long as I live, I will never forget the moment when we caught the very first glimpse of Zack, walking down the hall from the delivery room, bounding through the doors of where we were all waiting with incredible anticipation. Zack was walking taller than I've ever seen him walk, shoulders thrown back with the look of pride and ultimate joy on his face as he introduced his most precious son. And then, to have the intimate privilidge of being able to go back into the recovery room to witness the perfectly awe inspiring birth of a brand new mother. The look of utter contentment and peace was on Alison's face as she magically continued to fall more and more in love with her baby boy, who had just minutes earlier, arrived in her arms, safe and sound. Whew! It just doesn't get better than that! Thank you for allowing me to be included in that most special time of your lives. Congratulations on raising such a special ONE YEAR OLD!! He is beautiful, inside and out.
