Stories

                                Another couple of months have snuck past me. We are what feels like well into July now and summerr vacation is flying by.  Donny finished school and we did survive it look at that.  He is now an official pilot  for the army and civilian rated.  We of course moved after flight school and bought a beautiful new house.  We had a house built and worked with an amazing builder - this guy is really somethin.  Our house is amazing!!!! We are 100% satisfied with our purchase.  Somehow I forgot how much work unpacking really is.  I'll have to post pics when we are done.  The kids are getting really frusterated because it has been pretty hot here and when I say hot I mean 105 - 109 daily from way early till after we go to sleep @ night it is HOT!!!!!!!!! So they have all been deprived of outside time lately.  Which in turn brews more fights.  Then to add the move and changes we are all cranky hot sleepy monsters! 

Kids are looking forward to school. I think Lala will be home - not old enough this year.  Not sure if I will work and go to school yet or just 1 at a time to take it easy.  I shoulld get paid for unpacking! Dogs are still a little confused and try to escape to the car when ever we leave but soon it shall pass.   Gotta go convince Donny that its a job...........

April 9th, 2009

It has been a busy year already! Donny is near the end of flight school and we survived .........so far! Birthdays galore!!! I just turned 21 (again) Isabella is going to be 3 next week and the boys are 4 , 8 and 9.  Donny is loving school and is still addicted to reading. He is real excited to start drum lessons next week he is doing awsome in school and doing real well with his braces! He's very festive and gets the bands changed for every holiday :) Joshua has found an interesting series of books to read now so he is often caught sneaking in a chapter or two after lights out. He is starting guitar lessons next week as well and is super excited about it.  Doing great in school and can't wait for summer vacation. Nate is my little story teller lately - boy can he make up some fibs!!! He reminds me so much of Donny when he was little he is always asking us math questions like 9+9 then whats 18+18 and 36 +36 and on and on and on..... he can talk a million miles a minute. He loves to dance and sing kareokee in front of the mirror - daily!   Isabella is a walking  running tornado this girl is a clumsy lil ball of constant energy.  She loves her babies and we can't go to the store with out her trying to take another one home. She says mommy i need her she asked me to take her home she wants me to be her mommy she is so sad I  need her mommy please!!!!! And so she has a million babies but they are all named la la , bella, isabella like me or kaylee. As for me - still doing daycare just not working as much this month or last. Trying to take it easy  I was burning myself out with all them kids day in and day out. There were a few weeks when I had upto 17 different kids in and out of my house on a daily basis. One night I had 22 kids here and Donny was @ work oh lus my 4 so yeah!  We're looking forward to summer vacation!! No real plans just yet - looking forward to sleeping in, BBQ's, sprinklers and warm summer nights!

We are doing a flashlight egg hunt this year for the kids. I'm trying to organize the neighborhood to all pitch in and have a great big scavenger hunt for the kids. So far we got 3 families for sure and they all have 4 kids plus our family so even with just us we'll have plenty. I'm looking forward to it. I'll post pics . Donny got me a new camera for my birthday so I'm super excited to use it.  Ok time for BED gotta get up early.

I know I say it all the time but man time sure does fly by.  Happy New Year!!!!!!

We had such a great time in Chicago for xmas and we missed home so much. It actually felt like we were on a vacation this time we visited. It was so much fun. We can't wait to go back. We missed home so much that we have decided we are no longer going to retire in Texas- we're gonna go home!!!  We still have like 10 or so years for that but since times flys by so fast it'll be here b4 we know it.   Everyday the kids are asking if we can go to cago or if we say ok get your shoes on they say why cuz we're going to Cago??? Mostly Nate and Isabella. But the boys were talking about it the other day and said they would rather go to chicago then to Disney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can you believe it???? Are they nuts??????????  I love you guys but heck no I'd rather go to Disney!!!  It was so super cold there. Man I forget how cold it can be.  We had loads of fun - didn't take as many pics as I wanted to and didn't play in the snow. We had a big ol list of things we wanted to do and got most of them accomplished but when you sleep till almost 10 and you got 4 kids to bath and feed and 2 dogs to walk and a load of laundry daily there was no way we were gonna get it all done. We were lucky if we left before 2 let alone noon!!!  We really had a GREAT time - Spent too much $ - ate way too much Dunkin Doughnuts and not enough pizza (LOL) and spent too much time sleeping. Sleeping is so over rated we really could've done with out a few hours everyday. It is kicking all our butts now.  Donny has to get up @ 3:40am and the kids and I get up @ 6am and boy oh boy thats a HUGE difference from 9:45 for 12 days straight!!!! 

It is week 2 of being home and we are slowly getting back into the swing of things. The kids got thier report cards today and they are both doing great!! Donny is reading @ a 12th grade 2nd semester level and 6th grade 3rd semester for math. His gifted teacher is going to move him to the 6th grade gifted work now instead of 4th. Josh is doing great academically and is improving with his behavior.  Nate is eager to learn. He is trying to spell things all the time and Lala is really loving her gymnastics class.  Donny is going into the next section of training and it's work as usual for me.  We coach Basketball for Donny and Joshua's team 4 nights a week wich leaves NO time for naps- Yuk! It is so much fun to watch them play.  They are both really good.  It is so cute.

November Already??????????

Whew this year is flying by so fast!

School is going great for the boys they are really enjoying it. They just brought home report cards already!!  and Josh is doing great with school work and reading- he needs a little help with his behavior and being social but thats no suprise - I don't think I ever got a report card that wasn't checked for Not Exercising Self Control. He is reading more now and really enjoys reading to Nate and Isabella before bed Which is just the cutest thing!!!    Donny is doing great in school and  is reading alot as usual. He wants to be a marine biologist when he grows up. The boys have made lots of friends and they really like going to Sunday school and boy scouts. Basketball season starts soon and we are excited for that. 

Nathanial is obsessed with his party and the whole turning 4 He is trying to spell words all the time and is like a grown up trappedin a little persons body. Hard not ot laugh when he talks with the crazy accent he has :)  Isabella is something else!!!! She is a little mommy always has a baby on her shoulder or hip and she is always singing and is Very loud yeah don't know where she got that from either :) 

Donny is doing awsome in class and just started flying again. He loves it.  I am going crazy trying to find enough time for things. My business is really doing good I had 17 kids in my program last month! It is different every month even daily of how many kids are here but it is lots of fun and Nate and La~La have lots of little friends now too.

Oh Donny Jr is getting braces today! He is so excited about it the orthodontist we took him to is wonderful and got him all excited about getting them. He can pick what ever color or colors he wants  and after the 6 - 8 months hewill need a retainer and they have a computer program that lets him draw a design for his retainer!! Joshua loves to draw so he is trying to talk Donny into letting him design it. We'll see how that goes.

We are counting down the days till Papi's birthday & Nate turns 4.

Whew it has been a LONG while!! well things are crazy buzy- fast here! The kids finished school, Donny finished his initial flight training and I got certified to do home daycare.  The last few months have all been a blur.  We had family come visit, we went to Orlando , we have been doing all kinds of stuff.  Last month I had 12 kids enrolled in my program (only 6 at a time including Nate and Lala) but whew that was crazy. so this month I am taking it slow and cutting hours cuz Liz needs some sanity and i was about to go overboard!!  Donny has been home alot and we have been spending alot of family time together.  The big boys are in swim lessons right now and they just finished basketball camp last wek and are going to baseball camp next week. They are all over the place and never sit still.  thats it for now I'll update more when I get another free hand :)

April 22

Ok so we are all moved in it took a whole week to do it ourselves. Donny went home on emergency leave for a few days so the boys and I moved alot of stuff. Donny made sure to move most of the big things before he left. So the kids and I got alot of the little stuff and cleaned the old place and stuff. And here at the new place we had a bit of a situation while Donny was in Chicago. The house we live in is brand new in a new subdivision and the contractors put it up so fast that they drilled the hole for the washer drain on the wrong side so I connected the washer and found out after 2 1/2 loads that it was all draining in to the floor and coming out the vent in the first floor!! Yeah crazy !!!! I thought I did something wrong but thankfully it was all cleaned up and we moved on - Donny came back home and we started the hustle n bustle all over again. Now the boys schedules are different because Josh still takes the bus but Donny doesn't so  iwas trying to juggle that getting veryone ready 45 mins earlier than b4 so we could eat and get him off to school and then drive Josh and then he got on the wrong bus 3time s coming home - it was all so crazy. And the dogs got out a few times for a few hours like they always do when we move and I was still trying to unpack. So to just add the the chaos I decided to enroll in the Fcc certification classes to become a licensed home day care provider again. I have been trying to take these classes since August and have gone 2 times and couldn't finish them cuz of my own kids. Any way my new neighbor os awsome and my kids absolutely love her so she watched my 4 kiddos so I could take my classes. 2 wks from 8 -5 I was glad to finally finish and now I am licensed.  I took last week to unpack the house and hang pics and curtains and the kids had spring break so we hung out and did alot of unpacking (it's bout time we moved Easter weekend)  we went to the strawberry patch and the kids had a blast we had 137 pounds of strawberries. They were so good too.  MMM strawberry everything lately our kids hate em now.  :)

For my birthday we went to TGI Fridays and had an awsome dinner with my family :) @ TGIFridays they sing to you and make you stand in your chair while they sing and I've been training the kids to say that I am 21 so the guy announced that I was 21 and everyone was starring at my standing on the seat looking at me crazy cuz I had all them kids and eveyone asked are  you really 21 are they all yours?? LOL funny we love it so now I always respond back with NO I thought it would be fun to borrow 4 kids and take them out for dinner and watch em have a temper tantrum . People here are very outspoken so to say and so they get all stumbled up and don't know what to say when I tell them that LOL  We had a good time. 

Isabella had a lil tiny birthday party. We go walking with a big group of women everyday so a few of them came over and had carrot cake cupcakes and sang Happy birthday to isabella. She had no clue what to do with the candles but she knew exactly what her presents were. The mail man left a package outside and she brought it in and said it's my happy birthday its for me!! She is so smart. And I decided on Monday the day before she turned 2 that we were gonna go all out and get rid of diapers and get potty trained. So we had lots of accidents Monday and no pee pee in the poty but Tuesday morning she was ready to go and did awsome!! We sat on the potty about a good 100 times and she went probably 5 but she got it. she tooka nap and woke up dry and she only had like 3 accidents but it was because I didn't get her there in time. But day 3 she got it down and mastered holding it till we get there. She is doing so good and goes by herself now she had 1 accident Sunday when we were at the park but once again my fault cuz I didn't make her potty before we left and she has been dry since day 3 even at nap time. So next is night time but she wakes up dry most of the time so hopefully we have the same sucess as the day time. Wow and I guess everyone is right Girls are faster!!!! by far!!! She just had to be ready!!! 

So I have had interviews and inspections up the wazooo and I open my daycare tomorrow.  The kids are excited and I think we'll have lots of fun.  I'll have to add pics this house is ideal for child care I love it.  when you first walk in the front door there are 2 small rooms 1 on the right and 1 on the left and they are divided by a hallway so  Ihave one as the office and 1 as the child care room.  It's cool.

Donny is almost done with this section of training and should be going on hold for a few months in about 2 or 3 wks so we are excited we'll have him home for a change maybe he'll get the garage in order and then our house will be all unpacked.  Oh and we have baseball 3 night a week and Donny coaches and  I am team mom and asst coach so that really keeps us busy. The boys really like baseball Josh is a lil slugger man and Donny likes short stop just like his Papi :)  Nate and Isabella just go for the snack :)

Well Ive posted pics from the strawberry farm we went to and of my bday and isabellas. I think thats bout it for now.

FEBRUARY 27

IT'S ALMOST MARCH ALREADY I CAN'T BELIEVE IT.

WELL LETS SEE - THE BOYS HAD THIER PINEWOOD DERBY RACES FOR CUB SCOUTS. AND JOSH WON 3RD PLACE AND DONNY GOT 4TH OR 5TH (1,2,3 TROPHIES ONLY) IT WAS SUCH AN AWSOME EXPERIENCE. WE TOTALLY LET THE KIDS DO THIER OWN CARS AND DIDN'T TRY N SUPE IT UP AND MAKE IT SO THAT IT WINS AND SOME OF THE GUYS WERE KINDA RAGGING ON ME ABOUT THE CARS THE NIGHT BEFORE WHEN I TOOK THEM TO TEST EM ON THE TRACK. IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE THEY HAD THIER "SON'S " CARS IN LIL LOCKED SAFE BOXES  LINNED WITH PADDING TO PROTECT IT. I WAS LIKE OH YEAH REAL NICE!! THATS ALOT OF WORK FOR A 6YR OLD! IT WAS UPSETTING BUT I WAS REAL GLAD THE BOYS WEREN'T THERE TO HEAR IT. SO WE PREPARED THEM FOR WHAT THEY WERE GOING TO SEE AND EXPLAINED THAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO MAKE THE CARS THEMSELVES  AND THAT THIERS WERE GOING TO LOOK DIFFERENT  THAN THE OTHER KIDS CARS. SO THEY WERE FINE WITH IT - AWSOME!! i REALLY THOUGHT THEY WERE GOING TO BE BUMMED BUT THEN JOSH STARTED TELLING THE KIDS THAT WERE BRAGGING - THATS OK CUZ YOUR DAD MADE YOUR CAR  HE CHEATED AND I HAD ALL THE FUN MAKING MINE BY MYSELF!!! lol YEAH SO BELIEVE IT OR NOT JOSH WON 3RD PLACE ANYWAY AND DONNY ACTUALLY HAD THE SAME OVERALL TIME AS JOSH BUT HE GOT  TIED FOR LIKE 4TH PLACE CUZ THERE WERE MORE KIDS TO AVERAGE IT OUT.  ANYWAY THERE WERE 2 TRACKS THAT ARE FASTER AND THE CARS GET ROTATED TO GO DOWN EACH TRACK AND I GUESS THE NIGHT BEFORE I REALLY HURT THE MANS FEELINGS WHEN I COMMENTED ON HIS SONS CAR SO HE KEPT PUTTING MY KIDS CARS ON THE SLOW TRACKS BUT THATS OK - HE WAS EVEN SHOCKED WHEN THEY READ OUT THE RESULTS!! SO WERE WE. JOSH WAS SO EXCITED AND DONNY WAS EXCITED FOR HIM.  THEY BOTH GOT A CERTIFICATE AND JOSH GOT A TROPHY. THEY HAD A BLAST THAT DAY. DONNY'S CAR WAS AN EAGLE AND JOSH MADE A SNOW TIGER. 

WE WENT TO FLORIDA LAST WEEKEND AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICS. IT WAS LOTS OF FUN WE WENT ON A RETREAT WITH CHURCH AND STAYED @ THIS REALLY AWSOME HOTEL.  THEY HAD COMPLIMENTARY ICE CREAM, POPCORN, JUICE BOXES AND MOVIES OH AND COLORING BOOKS AND CRAYONS ALL IN THE LOBBY AND THEY HAD AN ARCADE THAT WAS FREE AND A KIDS CRAFT/GAME ROOM. THEY EVEN HAD KID SUITES THAT HAD BUNK BEDS AND BEAN BAGS N PLAYSTATIONS. (WE GOT A REGULAR ROOM BUT THEY WERE ALL NICE)  IT WAS TOO COLD TO GO IN THE OCEAN. IT WAS PRETTY WARM OUT BUT THE WATER WAS STILL ICE COLD!! THE KIDS HAD FUN PLAYING IN THE SAND AND JUMPING WAVES. WE HAD A GREAT TIME AND NOW WE KNOW WHERE WE'RE GONNA GO NEXT TIME WE VISIT FL. 

LETS SEE WHAT ELSE...... OH THE BOYS DECIDED TO HAVE THIER BIRTHDAY PARTIES TOGETHER SO WE ARE HAVING A HUGE B-DAY BASH THIS WEEKEND FOR THEM  THEY INVITED OVER 35 KIDS AND WE'VE GOT SOME SURPRISES PLANNED FOR THEM. IT'S GONNA BE LOTS OF FUN!!! CHECK BACK FOR THE PICS FROM THAT.

WE JUST SINGED THE BOYS UP FOR BASEBALL AND THEY START EVALUATIONS NEXT WEEK. YES I DID SAY EVALUATIONS FOR 1ST AND 2ND GRADERS. THEY EVEN TELL SOME KIDS THEY DON'T MAKE THE CUT!!! PEOPLE IN THE SOUTH TAKE SPORTS WAY TOO SERIOUSLY!! SO WE ARE GOING TO TTRY IT OUT AND HOPEFULLY WE DON'T HAVE ANY ISSUES AND THEY AREN'T SO TOUGH ON THE LIL KIDS LIEK THEY ARE HIGH SCHOOL KIDS. MY FRIENDS DAUGHTER DIDN'T MAKE THE CUT FOR SOCCER AND SHE'S IN KINDERGARDEN. SHE SAID THE KIDS THAT GET CUT STILL GET TO PLAY SOCCER BUT THEY ONLY PRACTICE THEY DON'T PLAY ACTUAL GAMES AGAINST OTHER TEAMS. SO THAT STINKS I DON'T KNOW IT'S NOT LIKE THEY'RE IN COLLEGE PLAYING FOR THE PRO'S. IT'S ALL NEW TO ME THIS WILL BE THE FORST SPORT SINCE TBALL IN TEXAS 4 YRS AGO SO HOPEFULLY THEY DO GOOD. DONNY IS STRESSING TAKING THEM TO THE BATTING CAGES EVERY WEEKEND NOW AND HE  EVEN SUGGESTED THAT WE GOT DURING THE WEEK MAYBE 1 OR 2 DAYS TO HELP THEM PRACTICE :) CRAZY!!! CRAZY!!! :) OH WELL WE'LL SEE :) STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES ON THAT.

I guess I'm averaging 1 story a month now. So much is going on. The kids got report cards 2 wks ago and are doing very good. Donny is doing great in the gifted program and will be taking an IQ test soon. He has gone from reading @ a 4th grade level since Sept and is now @ an 8th or 9th grade level!! Wow it blows me away!! They don't get letter grades still I don't know why but whatever - Donny got Excedes grade level for writing, reading,math, science, social studies and spanish.  For Art, music, PE, and speaking & listening he got meets grade level. So he is doing great and all he does is READ!!!!

Joshua is also doing good academically. He got meets grade level for all subjects. His teacher sais he has excelent hand writing, he reads good and is exactly where he needs to be. The only problem which is a big one is that  evidently Mr Joshua is competeing for the title of CLASS CLOWN!!! Yeah so we are working on his behavior and trying to straighten it up now because it's only 1st grade.

And Nate is no longer going to part day preschool. We decided to pull him out of the program and keep him home with Isabella. He really doesn't adapt to change well. He is throwing alot of tantrums and being real whinny but its all a phase and hopefully will be over soon.   They both go to day care 1 day a week for 2 hrs while I go to Bible study and they enjoy it. 

Donny is doing real good in school he is in the top 10% of the class right now and is studying like crazy!! We only see him for about 30 mins a night. Crazy crazy busy days.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

WOW LAST YEAR REALLY FLEW BY!!

CHRISTMAS MORNING WAS AWSOME. WE (MEANING DONNY AND I) WOKE UP @ 8 AM AND THE KIDS WERE ALREADY UP FOR ABOUT 15 MINS PEEKING AT ALL THE PRESENTS.  THE BOYS FIGURED IF NATE AND ISABELLA WERE UP THEN THEY WOULD BLAME IT ON THEM :)  WE DIDN'T HAVE ANYWHERE TO GO AND NO ONE CAME OVER HERE SO IT WAS A VERY RELAXING DAY! THE KIDS ACTUALLY TOOK ALMOST 2 HRS TO OPEN PRESENTS. THEY REALLY TOOK THIER TIME OPENING AND PLAYING WITH EVERYTHING BEFORE THE NEXT PRESENT - OK WELL EVERYONE BUT NATE! HE WAS LIKE A LIL MAD MAN OPENING AND NOT EVEN CHECKING IT OUT BEFORE HE ASKED FOR THE NEXT ONE LOL HE REMEMBERED WHAT HE GOT LATER WHEN IT WAS TIME TO PUT THIER NEW STUFF AWAY HE REMEMBERED WHAT WAS HIS.  HE REALLY LIKES THE LIL KITCHEN THAT TOOK ME LIKE 4 HRS TO ASSEMBLE!! WHAT WAS SANTA THINKING?????????????  IT WAS FUN HE HELPED HAND ME SCREWS AND DRILL THEM IN.  AND ISABELLA FOUND A CANDY CANE FIRST THING AND WAS CONTENT WITH THAT. SHE HAD HER EYES ON THAT CANDY CANE FOR 2 WKS ALMOST SINCE THE PACKAGE CAME FROM NANA AND SHE KNEW SHE RIGHT WHERE IT WAS. WE ALL OPENED HER GIFTS FOR HER SHE WASN'T INTERESTED IN OPENING THEM AT ALL. SHE JUST WANTED HER BABY AND HER CANDY OH AND JOSH'S BIKE! SHE GOT HER OWN BUT SHE REALLY LIKES JOSHUAS.  DONNY WAS TAKING HIS TIME OPENING AND PLAYING WIT HIS STUFF AND AS ALWAYS CLEANING UP THE WRAPPING AND HELPING FIND EVERYONES GIFTS.  HE TOOK THE LONGEST TO OPEN GIFTS. HE WAS SO EXCITED TO GET HIS BEARS JERSEY FROM TITI JEANIE AND UNCLE STEVE. AND THE RUBIX CUBE  SANTA LEFT IN HIS STOCKING. AND JOSHUA WAS SUPER EXCITED ABOUT EVERYTHING AS ALWAYS!!! lol HE HAD THE SAME REACTION TO EVERYTHING - WHOA THATS COOL- AWSOME!!! lol HIS FACE REALLY LIT UP FOR HIS GUITAR AND HIS TONY HAWK OUTFIT.  THEY HAD SO MUCH FUN AND I MADE AN AWSOME HAM AND SWEET POTATOES FOR DINNER. SINCE THEY ONLY ATE BREAKFAST AND WE ATE @ 4 THEY  HAD  BEEN SO BUSY PLAYING THEY DIDN'T HAVE SNACK SO THEY ALL ATE HAM!! WHICH IS A FIRST FOR MY PICKY LIL EATERS.  THEY ALL ATE IT AND LOVED IT. NOW I KNOW THE TRICK - JUST STARVE THEM ALL DAY AND THEY'LL EAT MORE FOR DINNER -lol 

NEW YEARS CAME AND WENT SO FAST. THE KIDS REALLY WANTED TO STAY UP BUT WE DECIDED @ 10 TO PUT THEM TO BED SO WE CAN RELAX AND CELEBRATE TOGETHER SINCE IT IS THE FIRST YEAR IN LIKE FOREVER THAT I COULD ACTUALLY DRINK.  SO WE HAD A FEW DRINKS AND TOASTED IN THE NEW YEAR AND SLEPT IN TILL 10 AM THE NEXT DAY!!!  NOW THAT WAS AWSOME THE KIDS SLEPT TILL 10 TOO!!!  NOW WE HAVE TO ALL GET BACK ON SCHEDULE CUZ THEY ALL GO BACK TO SCHOOL TOMORROW. 

IT HAS BEEN A LITTLE CHILLY HERE. IT WAS IN THE 30'S AND THEN TODAY IT WAS 18 AND WE WERE FREEZING!! I KNOW IT REALLY  ISN'T THAT BAD IF WE WERE STILL IN NY BUT NOW THAT WE ARE SPOILED BY THIS HEAT WE ARE FREEZING! I WASN'T PREPARRED FOR THIS COLD WEATHER AND SINCE WE DIDN'T GO BACK HOME  I DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER GETTING WINTER ATTIRE FOR THE KIDS THIS YEAR. THEY HAVE COATS AND THE BOYS ALL HAVE HATS BUT NO MATCHING GLOVES AND ISABELLA DIDN'T HAVE A HAT OR GLOVES.  SHE HAD TO WEAR ONE OF NATES HATS LOL NOT TO MENTION THAT THEY DON'T EVEN SELL HATS AND GLOVES HERE IT'S ALABAMA!!!  OH AND IT WAS RAINING ALOT HERE TOO. SO WE HAVE BEEN STAYING IN AND PLAYING WITH ALL THIER NEW TOYS AND GAMES.  BUT NOW WE ARE ALL READY TO GET OUT OF THE HOUSE AND GO SOMEWHERE - GOOD THING THEY START SCHOOL TOMORROW THEY CAN ALL GO THERE :)

December 16

Whew I really can't tell you where the time goes. It is almost Christmas already!!!! Ok so Donny had his nickle flight the last time I updated.  It was his 1st time actually flying the aircraft.  There is an old tradition where you have to "pay" your instructor for your first flight. It's a nickle and not just any old nickle either cuz that would be too easy. You have to give your instructor a nickle from the year you were born! And they didn't tell them till the day before so you can imagine the guys all scrambling to find a nickle of the year they were born. Donny here lucked out not like the single guys they had to get rolls of nickles from the bank....... Well Donny just raided the kids penny banks :) and we found it!!!  I was so nervous that day every aircraft I saw or heard I thought was him. Whew it just really hit me- thats really Donny up there flying, crazy!  While I was nervous and waiting very impatiently for him to call me he was so anxious to get up there and really fly! He said its awsome and he really loves it! The kids think it's cool too. La~La says Papi's Copter when ever she see's or hears one :)  He is now flying daily and studying even more. This is really like a deployment with one benefit. He is home every night but thats pretty much it. We really don't see him much cuz he is either flying or studying.  But he is home at night and that I am thankful for (except when he steals the covers and kicks me out of bed, literally) LOL  But he is doing good and getting 98's on all his tests.  All the studying really pays off. 

Donny jr made it into the gifted program. I go for a meeting this Monday to discuss the program. He scored 32 out of 35. and is in the 98% for his age and 96% for grade. His stanine is 9 and he is reading at a 6th grade 4th quarter level. I guess all those things will be explained more to me  on Monday.  It was a long process and alot of work on his part and lots of questionaires for us to fill out. At one point I thought maybe he wouldn't get it but he actually scored very high in all subjects not just  reading.  Which is so awsome. He absolutely loves reading and is now waiting to start  #6  Harry Potter so him and his cousin Vanessa can read it together.  He is doing pretty good in Awanas as well he has his crown and 4 jewels i think.  He has to memorize verses and thats how he earns the jewels that go in the crown. 

Joshua is doing good in Awanas as well I think he has 3 jewels and is a little upset he is behind Donny but he is still doing good. He is recently having a few issues at school so we are hoping it will all be better after the holidays. He is reading so good and has read over 100 books from his reading bag and when he reached 100 he got to eat lunch with the principle.  He really liked that.  He is such a good big brother too. He just adores La~La. He wakes her up and gets her out of bed in the morning and helps get her breakfast sometimes too. 

Nate is doing good too. He has had another visit to the ER since his chin. Last week I had the kids out back playing in the yard. Donny was reading and Isabella was playing in her lil house. Josh n Nate were playing so good together and then they started playing baseball with a stick Josh found and a soft nerf like ball.  Well Josh told nate to stand back and Nate said but I don't want to and next thing I know Nate is crying.  His hair was covered in blood!!!! So Donny wrapped a tornaquet around it and I got my stuff and took Nate to the ER. Josh came with me and it was a 30 - 40 min drive to the ER (cuz we learned from experience last time to just drive that far and skip the 1 thats 15 mins away) so anyhow Nate was starting to fall asleep so I was trying to drive and call people to talk to him and keep him awake. I was so scared he was going to fall asleep Josh had him drawing we tried singing but after like 15 mins he was getting sleepy.  So what do you know everyone I called wasn't answering then finally my mom called me back and talked to him and kept him awake till we got there . They were awsome there it took about an hour for them to clean off the dried up blood and really get down to the cut.  They took so long because they came in every 5 mins and cleaned it just a little till he screamed and then let him rest and kept coming back and giving him a few mins in between. Which I was so thankfull for because he was in lots of pain.  I really thought they did a good job with him. Before they got down to the cut the nurse said they will probably be putting staples in his head and him and I both lost it. My poor baby I was so scared for him and kept asking for the dermabond glue. And thankfully when we got most of the blood cleaned up the doc said it was really such a small cut that we could just use the glue!!! Thank God so then they put it on and we were done :) My poor baby he tells everybody sometimes acidents happen and Josh accidentally  busted my head open, but it's ok accidents happen :) He is so sweet he even takes the blame too, he says Josh told me to stay back but I told him I don't want to cuz I didn't!!

Isabella is growing up so fast. She is so smart and is into everything. We call her our lil trainwreck!! She can really be a monster especially at the store or a restaurant :)  She is talking alot and sings all the time. She is always singing her ABC's, Bringing home my baby bumble bee and wheels on the bus those are her favorites.  She loves her Papi too. Oh man you should see how both thier faces light up when he comes home from work and she runs to him for some kisses.  It is so sweet :) She is such a handfull and so much fun at the same time.  She loves to dance and play with her babies.  She goes to day care with Nate on Tuesday while I go to bible study and I have to carry her out kicking and screaming. She tells me "no go away I kool" She thinks she goes to school like the boys do and I have to fight her when we drop Nate off she wants to stay there too. 

Thats pretty much it besides all the xmas parties and functions we have been filling our time with. The kids and Donny all start thier winter break next week so we are looking forward to that and I am trying to get lots of activities to keep us busy.  Shouldn't be too hard with 4 :) we are pretty much always busy so we shouldn't have to try too hard.

December 3rd

Time sure is flying by........ November came and went in the blink of an eye. 

Kids have all been sick here and there and getting better than getting sick all over again.  It's been fun. Nate and Isabella have a little cold right now and Joshua is getting over strep.  We had an awsome Thanksgiving. We went to Donny's friends house for dinner and had Philapino food there were egg rolls, rice, turkey, some awsome noodles and some kind of BBQ shishkabob thingys and I made a ham, sweet potatoes, and broccoli caserol. It was all reallt good and we had a nice time.

Nana came for a visit the day after Thanksgiving. I got up @ 3:45am to go shopping and got almost all of it done in a few hrs. I got some really really good deals and then when I got home we left for the airport to pick up Nana. We had a nice visit, the kids loved having her here. Lala liked sitting in the bathroom watching Nana do her hair and the boys loved reading with her before bed.  She stayed for Donny and Nate's birthdays and left the day after.  Joshua cried for about 80% of the drive home which was about 2 hrs. He was so sad she was leaving and thinks he is NEVER going to see her again. :( poor guy was very upset.  But he is ok now and knows we will see her again. 

Donny's b day was crazy - he works long days and then goes to study @ the library everyday now so we only saw him for about 2 hours that day. Then we went out to eat Mexican food for his and Nate's b day the next night ( which was Nates bday) Nate was so super excited to open presents.  He is so excited that he is 3 now.  He tells everybody he's 3. LOL   Today I took the kids to get hair cuts and Nate didn't want to get his trimmed cuz he only goes with his Papi but he wanted to sit and talk to the ladies @ the barber shop and tell them that now he is 3.  It's so crazy too because just today I noticed he is starting to change and look more like a big kid not my lil baby anymore oh and don't let that slip out because he gets really upset. He says boys who are 3 areNOT babies anymore only  1 & 2 NOT 3  !!! LOL He had a cute little party. He handed out his own invitations to his friends @ school and  picked out the theme for his party.  So I made Backyardagans cupcakes and we got a pinata ( all they had was Shrek, but he picked it out)   his little friends came over and we ate pizza and cupcakes and candy. It was fun he really liked the pinata and he had lots of fun.  

We put up our decorations and got our tree Sunday YAY!!!! I am so excited it smells like Christmas now :) Sure doesn't feellike it though. Sunday was 81 and today was 74 but we are getting a cold front and it's supposed to get down to 44  we'll see the weather is so goofy here you never know what to expect.

Well thats about it for now gotta go help Donny study.  Tomorrow is his Nickle Flight

OCTOBER 26TH

The boys are back in school now and are doing great. They just got report cards Friday. Donny is doing real good. He got Exceeds grade level in Math, Reading, English and Spanish. The rest of the subjects he got a M for meets grade level. And he takes reading counts tests at school on all the books he's read and has a score of 800 Not sure what that means but his average test score is a 97% and he has taken 28 tests on the books he has read so far this school year. He is still testing for the Gifted program and as I said before it is a lengthly process.  His goal is to get an Exceeds grade level for science and art next report card.  No pressure on our part he just wants to set goals for himself! Joshua is doing good as well. He got all M's for meets grade level except for 1 catagory. He got a Steady progress toward grade level in takeing responsibility for his actions. So we are definatly going to be working on that and his handwritting needs to improve so he has goals for next report card as well.  Last week was red ribbon week so the kids were learning about drugs and alchahol. And boy let me tell you that has sparked some interesting conversations.  Donny has been explaining   all the effects that drugs and alchohol have on your body and relationships!! He sounds like an adult telling Josh all this stuff and Josh seems intrigued. We had had some funny dinner conversations this week. t is so fun to just sit back and let them discuss things, the way they communicate is so much fun to see. 

Nate is LOVing school and all his lil friends.  His new favorite song is Bringing home my baby bumble bee !!1 I totally forgot about that song till I caught him singing bits and pieces of it and now we sing it all the time. ..... Well that is when Isabella lets us. She screams no stop the other one if you sing anything but the ABC's. She loves singing it and hearing us sing it with her.  Thursday morning I heard her talking and singing so I went in to get her out of bed and she yelled at me and threw her Boo baby out of the crib she said NO Go away  I seep!!  I couldn't help but die laughing but I stood outside her room and listened to her sing and talk to herself for almost 20 mins. She sings  a (like the a sound in autum) B see me...... sing wit me YAY....  and claps for herself!!! She is just too cute. And oh my she is talking up a storm! She repeats everything and does a real good job of pronouncing it! She counts 1, 2 ,4 ,5 YAY!!!  and 2 is her favorite #. We were @ a party and one of the moms asked her oh do you want 1 offering her a cheetto and she said NO ........ I want 2... peeese!!! LOL it was so cute my lil lunch box.

The boys earned thier Skipper badge for Awanas and Donny got his crown and 2 jewles for his crown and Josh is working on getting his crown and jewlws now.  They are so eager to fill up thier vests and learn about God. They are doing so good we are very proud of them. 

Donny has been on hold so he has been home all week for the past 2 wks.  We are enjoying out time and I am taking total advantage of  running errands by myself, kid-less!!! I usually take a kid or 2 with me but during school or nap time I go solo! The other day I left him wit hall 4 for like 3hrs and I got so much stuff done I even squeezed in time to get myself  a latte LOL meanwhile he was going crazy and left the second I walked in the door!!!  He hopes he'll be getting into a class soon so he can start flying! And then maybe he'll have some what of a schedule for at least 6 wks.  And not be stuck @ home :)

So we went to the Fall Festival here today. It was fun the kids had a blast . more on that later I am being summonsed to bed!

October 8

Wow october already.. ....time flies!!! Things have been a lil crazy here the last few weeks.

Let's see......... Oh so Nate and Isabella had been a lil sick. Nothin too bad I realy didn't think it was too serious. They were a lil fussy and both had a runny nose and cough. Thought it was alergies or a lil cold.  It started getting better but then got worse like over night. and the noses wouldn't stop running and the cough was keeping them up at night. So I made an appt with the doc... now it was going on 3 wks of runny nose and cough. LaLa had a slight fever but she is also cutting teeth so I thought no biggy!! Well come to find out VERY big biggy!!!! After a few hrs, labs and xrays where I had to leave the room and 2 strange men had to hold each one of them down because I couldn't hold them both still @ the same time. They were a mess and soo super upset and freekin out that I left the room. But that was over- I won't say quickly cuz they were crying and squirming so much that they had to take 7 and 10 xrays of them. But all in all after it was all said and done we go back to the doc and found out they both have Walking Pnemonia!!! What???? I was baffled- it has been in the 80's and 90's here!!! I thought she was crazy I have never heard of Pnemonia in the summer time. And when I think of Pnemonia I think of people close to death in the hospital!! But since they had walking Pnemonie it wasn't that bad.  So we got lots of meds and breathing treatments for Nate's asthma.  The docs here are so serious they scare me about Nate's asthma. None of his other doctors took it this serious before but I guess it is a good thing and since it is so humid here his asthma has flared up some too. So anyhow Nate was doing better but Isabella was not so I had to take her back in a few days later and get stronger antibiotics.  Whewwww.... thank God they are all better now. Nate was fine after 24hrs of antibiotics but when La~La started getting worse she really scared me.  So that is all over now glad they got it now instead of when it gets cold it probably would have been worse. 

So anyways that same night after we came home from the doctors finding out they had pnemonia the 2 lil ones were in the tub and the big boys in the shower getting ready for bed, we were already having a late night.  but As I was walking out of the bathroom with Isabella Donny was passing me to go in and get Nate out I said hurry get in there he's going to bust his chin open cuz he is sliding down the tub on his belly.  Well no sooner than that was said Nate started screaming as Donny walked into the bathroom!! YUP he sure did blood was everywhere.  So Donny quickly got everyone dressed in thier PJ's and I held Nate trying to hold his chin together. Off we set to Hillbillyville hospital after an hour of getting them all dressed and ready and trying to figure out if it was gonna stop bleeding what hospital to go to who was gonna go all that kind of stuff.  We all went cuz I couldn't drive and hold his chin @ the same time..... I can drive and hand them things but not hold him so we all went.  The bleeding was very minimum after he stopped crying and calmed down I was just afraid it would split more.   Anyway when we got there La~La was sleeping and there were only a few people so Donny and the kids waited outside  and me and Nate went in.   (They all fell asleep in the truck) After 45 mins they finally took us back to triage.  Gosh I was fumming what in the world?? I know things are slow in the South but 45 mins to triage and noone else was called that whole time!!!!  They were averaging 1 patient an hour.  And then 5 hrs after that Donny woke up and realized we were still waiting so he went in and told them he was going to make a complaint and wanted a customer survey and the girls name then they magically had a bed open.  As I walked back there with Nate I was pretty upset to see the 2 docs and 5 nurses all sitting down.  I was fumming ......... I commented that wow thats so cool they all manage to take thier brake @ the same time meanwhile the waiting room is full and 6 hrs ago there were only like 5 people and 3 were still out there!!!! They weren't happy with me then butr it was ok cuz the feeling was mutual.   Yeah so we know now to never go there again.  But the doc came in and wanted to do stitches. He said it was borderline deep enough for Durma-bond and stitches and he said he felt more comfortable with the stictches. But I was really uncomfortable with his competency  so I said no I want the Durma-bond Josh got it when he busted his chin @ 2 and it worked out just fine. So after what was then 7 hrs it took only a few minutes to clean the now dried up blood and apply the glue and we were on our way...... finally!!! It was after 2am when we finally got home and Donny had to get up @ 4:30 for pt and we got up @ 6 cuz the boys had school. Nate stayed home, he slept till 9am. He was so silly in the ER he was singing ABC's, Wheels on the bus and Who let the dogs out!!! He was hilarious he had everyone laughing cuz he was singing so loud.  My poor baby he was such a lil trooper he only cried for a little at home and of course whe nthey cleaned it  but when I told him if he cries it is going to bleed more and split open more then he stopped. He was so silly he tried to talk and I kept telling him to shhhhh so he thought that meant to wisper.... and so he was wispering silly stuff to me.  He goes Hey mom wanna know somethin???? You got boogeys in your nose, wana know what color they are??? Can I pick them???? LOL I cried I was laughing so hard!!! He is so silly. He was making up songs and saying all kinds of off the wall stuff. So we learned our lesson next time we will drive the 30 mins to the bigger and as we hear now much better hospital. 

Good thing that was over and he was so carefull not to get it wet in the utb and not to bump it on anything. He says mom I'm gonna take small bites of my food so nothing drips on my ouchie!! The glue was peeling off real quick and and is now all the way off - it has been only 9 days but it looks like it is healing real nice.  It was a real thin layer of glue. I remember they put it on so thick for Josh that it looked liek a chunk of like candy or something on his chin and it took like 2 or 3 wks for his to fall  off.  It's alil thicker scar than I was hping for but what are you gonna due! Now Me , Josh, my Mom and Nate all have the same scar on our chins!!! Let's hope it stops there!!!

Lets see .........oh Donny must have caught a 48 hr bug. He was home from school 2 days cuz he woke up burning up screaming his head hurt.  So he slept pretty much most of the day that day and threw up once. He seemed ok later that evening so I thought he might be ok to go to scool but sure enough the next morning.... 4:30 am just like the last night he woke up screaming in pain and was burning up again. So no school Friday either. He got sick and slept most of the day and come dinner time he was fine and slept till 6 Saturday morning. He did wake us all up though cuz he was bored. He doesn't have a book to read. He returned his library books and was sick so we didn;t check out any new ones and he has been  done with Harry Potter #4 for a while but we can't find #5 so he didn't have a book to read. All good though cuz then we all got ready and headed for Florida we were planning on the zoo but when we got there it was raining so the ONLY other inside thing we could find was Ripley's Believe it or Not.  That was the biggest waste of $50 bucks.  The kids were pretty bored. There was one cool thing though.  they had this sicadellic tunnel where the neon lights made it look  and really feel like the tunnel was spinning and made it real hard to walk through.  Nate was terrified, Donny held on to the side railing and still almost fell over, Josh was freaked out and had to hold Papi's hand, Papi said it was nothing but walked sideways and looked like he was gonna tip over, I almost tipped and my stomach was turning, La~La was fascinated she was laughing while tipping over. it was hilarious.  After that we wne tto eat at this really cool restaurant on the water, it was a big huge pirate ship and they were all dressed like pirates and the kids got pirate hats and their dinner was served on a big blue fish shaped plate.  It was pretty cool. We had a fun day. 

Sunday we took it easy.... went to church and hung out and later we went for a bike ride to he park and grilled out for dinner.  Then today ew all slept in till 8:30 and the nwe got ready and went to the Zoo in Alabama this time. That was cool , it was like 93 today but the zoo was real shady and the kis had a blast. Thier favorite part was the monkeys. There was a momma daddy and baby. And trhe lil baby was climbing all over and they were chasing him pulling him down and he was squirming away hiding and climbing. It was so cute we watched them for a while.  We stayed till the Zoo closed. The kids were wore out we all fell asleep on the way home. good thing Donny stoped and got sunflower seeds cuz he was falling asleep too :)  But we got home safely and  everyone is all tucked in now and sleeping again.  Kids are off of school this week for fall break and Donny had a 4 day so tomorrow we are going shoe shopping!! Everybody needs shoes- crazy all at once.  So thats all I can think of thats been going on. Gotta get to bed its after midnight and school or not they all get up @ 6 am!!!

So school is getting off to a good start. We just had parent teacher conferences - report cards are next month. So Donny's teacher didn't have much to say except that he is doing wonderful, She said when there is a substitute she tells them to just ask Donny :)  and she feels he isn't being challenged enough as are we I mean come on the 4th Harry Potter book in only 3 months now. Yeah so anyway he is going to be tested for the gifted and talented program. I don't know much about it right now but will update when I find out more.  Donny earned his Skipper badge @ Awanas this week and loves to study for it. He is also starting wolf scouts just as soon as we can figure out when they meet. 

Joshua is doing great!!! His teacher had nothing but good things to say about him. Which is very different from last year.  She said he is right on key and is a becoming a great reader. He is so excited that he can read now and sometimes he doubts himself but he can read Magic Tree House books now with a little help. He is doing great. They work on a reward system and Joshua was the first to fill his card with stickers so he got to be the 1st to eat lunch with his teacher and that really made his day!!!!! He was super excited.  He is also doing good at Awanas and is real close to earning his Skipper badge.  Josh went to his first Tiger Scout meeting last night and was super excited to sign up cuz everyone gets a Spark stick!! Yeah like Joshua needs that LOL  ( It is like a flint used to start a fire) Yeah so those will only be used under close supervision and kept out of reach. LOL He was so excited that I guess last night before bed he decided to color tiger stripes on his arms with Yes you guessed it once again a Black Sharpie!!!!! So he of course hid it and wore a sweater this morning and took it off on the bus. He said the bus driver asked him so does that mean your a Tiger Scout???  He says his teacher thought it was cool and the principal said she never wants to see it again!! So as you can imagine he was scrubbing for a long time in the tub tonight!!!!! :) Ahh Joshua ...Joshua.... Joshua :)  

Nate has been acting up at home and crying when we drop him off at school lately. Not quite sure whats going on there  but it's getting old real quick.  He has been super whinney and mean and he does this thing where he sticks his arms out and pouts and just looks so pittiful.  Well he is learning his ABC's and wants to know how to spell everytones names and wants to know everyones favorite color. My lil goof ball - he told his teacher " Well I didn't get a haircut lastnight but I'm gonna get one on Friday and when I come to school your gonna say wow Nate you look so handsome because I will look handsome " LOL He is histerical!!!! They love him so much there and he has tons of fun

La~La is growing so fast I can't believe it. She is all about her baby dolls right now and how sweet it is to watch her. I just wonder because we haven't been around any babies but she is really into wrapping them up or putting blankets on them. She is so cute too she says shhhhhhhh ni ni babu ( thats how she says baby) When Papi comes home from work she runs to him saying YAY mom!!! LOL it's hilarious she knows how to say Papi but she has only said it a handfull of times.  She now tels me Mom I do Poop..... tinky booty!! and she asks Diaper???  Oh and her favorite word yup you guessed it NO even if it's yes it is still always NO sometimes no no no no!! But always no. She cracks us up with her lil personality and her facial expressions.  And watch out you can't even mutter the word outside cuz her lil bionic ears will hear you from the other side of the house and she comes runnin --- Shoes?? Outside? shoes and hands you her shoes. LOL She is a trip.

Donny has finally started class YAY for him.  Today was only day 1 so no school work but he has been studying like crazy every chance he gets. So hope it pays off. 

Me on the other hand am not going to go back to school yet. It is going to cost way too much just in child care for me to go right now so I have decided to wait till they are all in school for me to go back to school. 

So thats about it for now. I have pics I'll try and upload tomorrow. And maybe another story... maybe some thing exciting will happen between now and a few hrs when I get up for the day :) So Goodnight for now

Sept 2

So we just got back from camping today!! What an adventure that was 4 kids and 2 dogs in the stix of Georgia!!! It only lasted 12 hrs LOL We got a really good spot right by the beach and playgorund... onlyy problem is that La~La and Nate wanted to venture off constantly so I had to hold Isabella the whole time. We got there just before dark.  We set up the tent and Joshua helped Papi start the fire for dinner. Ok well actually Donny started the fire for them and Josh got it going. He was scarring me but he knew what he was doing, that too they have been practicing together.  Oh and did I mention we were the only ones with a tent :)  Yeah we reall stuck out like a sore thumb or as they called us "city slickers" LOL can you believe that.  That was an adventure we'll never forget.  Well the dogs whinned  all night. They were wigging out, they aren't the camping Type.  Sleeping ontop of rocks with 6 people and 2 dogs pilled into 1 tent was fun don't get me wrong but I think we've  had enough of that...... well for this summer at least LOL

Whew...... September already!!

So much to keep up with.  Nate goes to part day preschool 3 days a week and LOVES it!! He came home Friday singing Who let the dogs out? LOL It is hilarious listening to him sing. His teachers say he is constantly talking :) Thats my boy, takes after mommy!!!!  He does art work and free play, story time, snack time and then they play in the motor room ( it's a room designed to build motor skills) Well Nate refers to it as the motorcycle room :) He is learning his friends names and comes home talking about them, and he is constantly talking about his teachers oh and he is so excited that he has a classmate named Joshua!! He tells us a few times a day..... everyday!!!! He really loves it.

La~La on the other hand is such a handful when Nate is @ school. She misses him so much! She is talking soooo much I can't believe it. She is repeating everything lately.  Oh and as you can see I have discovered that her hair is just long enough for pig tails!!!! :) I lovew to fix her hair everymorning. And  best of all is that is the only thing she leaves in her hair. She pulls out her pony tail, and bows but her piggys she likes! She looks so grown up now especially with her lil toes painted :) LOL I am just having tooo much fun with her! I love it :)  Oh and did I mention..... she is Dadies lil girl. She cuddles with him and kisses and hugs him all day and she runs to him when he comes home but for me... I get her cheek when I want a kiss :) Silly girl. 

Donny is doing so good in his school he was student of the week last week and got to bring home "Fly Boy" the class mascot.  He brought home the lil teddy all dressed up in a flight suit and his journal. Then he wrote about all the fun stuff we did with Fly Boy.  He is now on the 4th book in the Harry Potter series and is so upset that now it is taking him so much longer to read this one since school has started and he has homework now.  He had to make a family tree poster for school and he had so much fun making it. His teacher sent home a note that he did an exceptional job!! We all helped put it together as a family and then Joshua came home with a similar assignment so we all made his too. He had lots of fun making his. The title for Joshua's was things I do w/ my family. Joshua had lots of fun going through his toys to find things to glue on, like he found a lil bike, for bike rides and a small car for road trips, things like that. He had a blast making his and he was so nervous to bring it on the bus :) he thought everything was going to fall off of it.  but it survived the bus ride, thank goodness, I was a lil worried too :)

Ahh and now we have Donny home. He was gone for a few wks and it is so good to know he will be home for a while now. The kids are always expecting him to be leaving again. Just about everyday they ask when is he coming back this time? :( Sad but it's cute they always want to make sure he is coming back!

Oh and I almost forgot the boys just started Awanas. They are having so much fun and love going every week. Papi had been helping them study thier Sparks books and the 2nd week they went they earned thier vests books and bags!!! They were soooooo super excited and so was I.  Donny took them to go see a movie to celebrate. I had no idea they were memorizing all 7 steps I was only concerened with step 1 :) but they knocked it out and did so good! They came home to tell me about it and suprise me by hiding thier stuff behind thier back (poor Josh was so excited he forgot to take off his vest LOL)  their faces were so lit up I couldn't spoil it and guess right so I played into it till they gave all the clues and then they still had to tell me they were so excited they could hardly speak straight!  Ahhh if I only had known I would've recorded it!!  I Love my boys!!

Today was the first day of school for Donny and Joshua and they enjoyed it. We are trying to figure out this crazy schedule we are all about ot be on now that school has started.  So I have updated a lot of pics and still have alot more to add along with a real story of things the last week here. We have been keeping pretty busy trying to pass the time.  As for tonight I am absolutely exhausted and on my way to bed. Gotta get up at in 5 hrs for another crazy day!!!
