4/30/11: Found out today that Beckham has cancer. It is very sad and we already have explained to the kids about it. We do not know how long we have with him but we will make it great for him.

4/18/11: Logan got his tubes today. He is a bit unstable today and off balance. He gets startled more easily. The doctore said she had to empty his ears of so much extra fluid and goop (red and orangy) that things will seem really loud to him today until he adjusts. He was drowsy when he first woke up from anesthesia but quickly drank 2.5 bottles and was feeling better. Not eating from 11:15pm (I woke him up for tjhat one) until 8am was a long time for wee man.) Normally he has a bottle at 6 befor ehe goes to Miss Lorraines for the day. He is walking and trying to run everywhere. He is playing games with us now and imitating everything we do and say. He's eating so much food and finger feeding too on his own!!

Devon has an appt tomorrow to go back to the dentist for his FIRST cavity!! I can't believe it!! We think its because we never realized to put the kids on Flouride treatments every night because we have well water now at this house. Well now every kid is on flouride in this house. He also has his neurologist appt coming up on May 4th to discuss our options for testing with devon and any issues he has been having. Doctors have thrown around anything from Autism spectrum disorders, seizures or bipolar.... we'll see. At this point I will be ok with anything I hear as long as we find something that helps the poor boy adapt to social situations. He has the IQ of an 7-8 yr old and yet can't play properly with other kids. Blows our minds! Devon learned how to divide in his head one night over dinner with Sean. He also understands fractions and parts of a whole, he plays strategy games for 12+ yr olds. He is doing so well with his reading. He can read any level one and most level 2 books.

Megan is doing wonderful in school. She can write her names and knows her numbersd and can sort of write them all. She loves show and tell. She has ezcema on her hands and backs of her legs and so she is on strong steroid cremes every night. He two fingers magically lost the skin on them. She can't tell us how and school has no clue and neither do we. Go figure. She loves to color and is still obsessed with her princesses of course. She just signed up to play soccer with Devon in the local league. She is super excited about wearing her shin guards and cleats. She still oves saying "very super" anything. For example, "mommy, I very super love you." or Daddy I am very super hungry, can I have a snack" Its so cute.

Gotta go get the kidders from school. Will try to update photos while home on break!!

3/30/11: Happy 1st Birthday Logan!!

3/29/11: WOW!! Tomorrow Logan's ticker will hit the ONE year mark! I can't believe it has been a year already that my littlest man has been in our lives. He has changed and grown so much over the year. He amazes me all the time.

Saturday is his first birthday party. It is going to be really small, since no one is really coming. Thats ok. We will celebrate!!! We are taking Logan to Logan's roadhouse for dinner on Wed for his actual birhtday. We have been planning this since before he was born and before the place was built!!!

Logan is also walking now all on his own and everywhere. He is so into everything!!! He is a little explorer! Logan is also getting tubes put in his ears on April 19th. He has had approx 7 ear infections in his first year.

I am hoping to get pictures up on here sometime soon!! I'm having problems with my new camera and uploading.

3/14/11: So many things to write about and update on. Where to start.

I will start with Devon... We are still awaiting an appt for his testing for PDD. Next year he will be going to Elem school right down the street from me. I transferred him to my district (better schools). I can also pick his teacher each year this way. It pays to be a teacher in the county... sometimes. He has been doing much better. The skills we are working on seem to be helping him. It takes so much of our time and patience but in the end everything is worth especially him!! He is worth every ounce of our energy. Devon is reading everything. He sounds out words like 'invisible...professor etc.) Incredible. He is outstanding academically.

Devon and Megan have their spring break next week and we were at a loss as to what we were going to do with Devon. Megan and Logan were going to go to Logans sitter, and Nanny was going to watch Devon is the afternoon after his county school. But Nanny is travelling to Auntie Jenny's for that week now, so Grandma is being so kind as to fly up from FL to watch him for the week and will be with us for 2 weeks prior to Logans first bday party. We are very excited and so are the kids. It was so hard to hear day after day... I would watch him if he was a 'normal ' kid from so many people. He is a NORMAL kid. He just needs extra love, thats all. I want the best for him thats all. Thank you MOM!!

Megan will be going to a new Pre-K next year. Its up near my school at well. Megan has been doing really well. She can write her name and numbers now and is starting to try and read. She can add some numbers together. Not much new with her right now. She is obsessed with coloring!! Love twistable colored pencils!

Onto the next kid!! Logan is going to be ONE in about 2 weeks and I can't believe how fast this year has gone! He is walking, still falls often but doing really well. I went and got him his first pair of real sneakers last weekend. My last time buying FIRST SHOES! So sad. He is a hoot. He imitates everything we do.

We are going to have him checked out by an ENT doc. He may need Tubes in his ears. He has had 6 ear infections in his first year. UGH! So excited he will be ONE soon!!! He loves the kids! And dogs! He just loves the outdoors.

Thats all for now I guess. We are just waiting for GRANDMA and GRANDPA to get here.

2/20/11:Today I am taking Megan to see Princesses on Ice in DC. We get to take the metro in and walk around the city a bit. She will be in awe. Before the show they have all the gowns set up for pictures and stuff. She is very excited and trying to figure out which princess to be for the show. I think it is between Mulan and Belle.

Megan has been doing really well in school. She can write all her letters and can sound out some words. She can add some numbers. Singing is her thing though!! She sings everywhere and anywhere. She likes to still pretend to be a mommy too. She adores Logan, sometimes a bit too much. She also has her sassy moments when she thinks she is 13 already! However, she has chemical burns on her hands and toosh/legs. We have not figured out yet what she is using that she is allergic too.

Devon is doing ok, he is reading all on his own!! He can multiply and excels at all areas academic! We register him for kindergarten on April 28th. I am still a little worried about holding him out this year only b/c he is so far ahead academically. He is doing the work of a third grader almost. However, he is seeing a therapist and he wants him to be psychologically tested for possible PDD, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, or Atypical Autism. It has to do with difficulty in social interactions and communication. His brain moves too fast that he can't process what to do in simple situations. We'll see. We spend most of our time or I should say Sean spend most of his time with Devon and working on what too do in those situations. He is now playing strategy games for 10-12+ yr olds!! Its awesome to be able to play real games with your kids!

Logan is starting to walk. He can take 4 steps on his own then he's on his rear still. He can say, Mama, Dada, duck, Bodda(Bottle), Nana, and there are a few more. He knows the signs for more, up, tired, eat/drink. He is so happy and I am just so glad that he is finally starting to feel better. Too many ear infections, breathing treatments and so on. He is starting to eat some real food too. He is still my twin!! And still has BLUE eyes, but I'm not banking on it yet b/c Devon had blue eyes until 18 months old.

I will try to get pics up especially after our Princess on ice day today!! Megan will look adorable at the metro station in a princess gown!! Hilarious.

12/19/10: Ok, enough said... I will of course keep it going, I just didn't know if anyone was really checking it anymore. Its nice to know everyone loves seeing the kids that much. Miss you all lots. Have a great Christmas, wish we could see everyone!!!

12/18/2010: We had and early dismissal on thursday and off on friday, well sean only had a delay. We baked xmas cookies and finished up last minute shopping. The kids went sledding. Gma and Gpa will be here in 4 days, Auntie Jenny and Uncle Mike in 5 days and let the chaos begin!!! We will have 5 dogs, 4 kids and 7 adults all in one house!! To me that is the definition of xmas and chaos. Thank god we have a big house for everyone.

Let me know that you still check this. I haven't see any comments in a while or on pictures, so I'm debating stopping the site and just using facebook instead. Let me know, so I know not to get rid of the site.

12/12/10: WOW! I am so behind in pictures. The main reason is that its now a pain to upload to this laptop with my current camera, so I have to use another laptop to uplaod them to a portable harddrive then move back to this computer to uplaod them to the site. It takes lots of time but I would love to do some today! We'll see.

The kids are finally well. Everyone here had the stomach flu except Logan. It was a blast! Christmas is almost here and we are just about ready!

Logan, is crawling everywhere at warp speeds and he can pull himself up. He can walk holding on to something. He is progressing so fast. He is into everything but is a barrel of fun and cuteness. He says Mom and mama, Dada, Ba for bottle so far, he can sign for eat and understands it and signs for when he is tired.

Megan is doing so well in school. She can write her name and her coloring is awesome now!! She can count to at least 50+ and can write most of her letters. She was so great in their xmas play they did for school. She sang her heart out. She knew every word and was so proud of herself as was I. I cried watching them. Sad I know but I was a proud mom!! It was a little awkward being in a Seventh day Adventist Church but they did really well. She also wrote her first letter to Sants in her own handwriting this year!!! She is very proud of it.

Devon has been doing well for the most part. The diet has been helping him and his impulsive behaviors, he still has common problems but for the most part he has calmed down a bunch. We have started reintroducing some of the foods to see if we can pinpoint the problems. I am starting with some of the favorites like apples!! He had them this morning for the first time in three weeks and so far he has been fantastic today!! I am hopeful!!

Devon is now reading!! He can sound out words that are really big which surprises us everytime! So now we cannot talk about things around him... nor spell them... nor write them down. We have switched to large words and code talk. But he is clever enough to ask what words mean. Spelling is not an option anymore. He has a good enough memory to sound it out in his head. His Math minutes at school have improved greatly!! He has been moved into the Kindergarten class because he was way to ahead for the pre-k. So we agreed to move him up for now. He is still classified as Pre-k that way he qualifies for the county Pre-k for the behavior modifications. Next yearhe will be in county kindergarten and we are hoping they don't want to bump him up too, they might, but we will likely refuse and keep him in kindergarten. We understand why they want to move him up, but we also see our own students who are close to cut off dates and you can just pick them out in a second!!!

11/23/10: Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!! Its Logans 1st Thanksgiving!

Logan is now crawling, pulling himself up to standing and says Mom. He is still the sweetest ever. He has been sick for quite some time and so am I and Sean and Megan!! Devon is the only one that is holding off. Megan is such the sweety lately, she seems to finally be coming out of the three yr old funk into the fours!! She can write her name, loves to COLOR!!!! She's the artsy and craftsy person like me!! I love it of course.

Devon is doing quite well. We have him on a serious strickk diet to see if it affects him and its working really well. There are stil the typical boy things but he is so much improved. Soon we can try to introduce some of the foods back and see what exactly affects him the most.

We also got a new puppy named Snoopy!! He is the cutest thing ever. He is a mini Australian Shepherd. I will post pics hopefully during our Thanksgiving break, when maybe I have some time. That is one thing we lack is time for us!! But we deal and make it work.

We were outside last night kicking around the soccer ball with the kids, it was so much fun!! And we played Cornhole!!! So fun with the kidders now!! Logan is not far behind, I wonde if he will be walking by xmas. He really wants to. Megan walked at 10 months, Devon at 13mo. We'll see. No rush!!

11/2/10: Wow, long time!!! Happy Halloween a little delayed. Logan has been sick lately, but is doing much better. He is now on preventative treatments like th eother two were for so long. They wanted to send himn to the hosp. on Saturday but we didn't have to go. His oxygen levels were at 93% but got back up to 96% so we got to go home. He also has two massive ear infections and a clogged tear duct and getting his two front teeth. He is the happiest baby still trhough it all. He still NEVER fusses. Its unreal. He is perfect. If this was our first kid I would have been afraid to have anymore to screw it up. I'm so blessed to have him! I can't believe he is 7 months old now. The year is flying by. He is about to crawl. He is up ion all fours and rocking. he is trying so hard to figure it out. his demeanor is so different from the other two. He never gets frustrated, he will just keep trying. Its amazing how different kids can be with the same genes.

Devon is doing much better. He was evaluated by the county for his behavior and was found 38% delayed in social/emotional behavior and 37% delayed in adaptive behavior. This qualified him for the special needs pre-k program. His intellegience is that of a 6.5-7 year old!! Nevert hought that was lacking. He now goes to an elementary school in the morning and his other private school in the afternoon. He seems to be doing rather well. And now he an Megan are separate for part of the day which is great because they have always been together like twins and its good to have them branch out a bit. Devon is also really reading books. He can sound out any word he sees and is really getting great at it. He is still obsessed with math and loves to do anything with numbers. he is playing strategy games with Sean that are for 12 year old and does fine and understands the strategies behind them. He loved being hulk for halloween...HULK SMASH! He loves Super Hero Squad!!

Megan is doing really well in school. She has started writing her own name and can start to sound out words. She is doing well with her numbers too. She has gotten so big. At her four year old check up, she was 47 lbs and 3ft 5 and a half!! She is off the charts in both areas!!! Everyone looks at her and thinks she is 5 or older. She wears size 6X at 4 yrs old. Its nuts! She is really sweet. She loves to take care of Logan. Sometimes a bit too much. She would get anything for him and plays with him forever. She just loves to hang out with mommy! She had a blast being Mulan for Halloween. She is her favorite princess at the moment. Girl Power!

9/25/10: HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY MEGAN ELIZABETH!!!

9/24/10: All the kids are doing better for the most part. Logan is still on breathing treatments but the other two are off. We had Megan's b-day party last weekend and all the kids came and had a blast! Logan is sitting up and rolling everywhere he wants to go! He's mobil!!! He is still amazingly the happiest baby in the entire world and a piece of cake. I pity anyone that has this first and then has a colicky baby!! You have no idea how bad it could be. If he was my first I would have sworn to have my 25... ok maybe not that many. Last night he slept from 7pm until 4:30am, awesome!! He is eating stage 2 foods!! Loves to jump in his jumperoo!!! And he just loves to watch anything the other two kids are doing.

Devon is doing much better at school. Now the biggest thing we hear of is... He hugs too much. If thats his problem I will take it! He hasn't been hitting (and I will kick myself if putting this in print starts him up again next week). He went to be evaluated for his aggression and impulsive behavior and the screening was pretty much developmental and he passed all intellectual stuff with flying colors!! He was spelling and reading, subtracting... multiplying. Of all days for him to show off, this was not the day I wanted him to do this!!! He has to qualify at this level before they will intervene at all behaviorally. GREAT! So he's intelligent and I can't get him help! WONDERFUL! Love the school system I WORK for. I bend over backward making sure all these students of mine have everything they need but they can't do much to help MY kid!!! Love it! Sorry... just a mommy venting about her son, who only wants the best for her child.

On a happier note, we are very excited to be hosting our first annual Halloweeen party! We have our costumes already and so do the kids. Megan is being Mulan, Devon is being the HULK and ours... well you need to wait for the pictures!! HA HA HA. Its hilarious! Logan is being a monster!! I thought whast is the farthest thing from his personality... yep a monster!!

9/15/10: Megan, devon and Logan are all on breathing treatments, antibiotics and steroids and the house has never been happier... yeah right!!!

9/10/10: A great week at school! Sean is loving his new job too!! So nice to finally see him happy about working again! Megan is finally getting over her croup and ear infection and now Logan is getting it and will be taking him to the doc tomorrow! Sunday I will be taking the kids to watch Sean's soccer game. That should be fun with all three.

Logan is still such a a good baby!! He does no wrong around here. He is always happy unless hungry. He is rolling over, sitting up, laughs so hard that it make me cry b/c I laugh so hard. Everything makes him laugh. His hair is growing in nicely, all platinum blonde and still blue eyed!! I'm hoping theblue stays with this one. I would like at least one of them to have my eyes, is that too much to ask.

Megan's new phrases are things like, "Mommy, I very love you" "that is super awesome", and "that was very super fun" Super and Very are her words. She has also created the word Nexterday. Whenever something is supposed to happened tomorrow she uses nexterday. Hilarious!!!

Sept 5, 2010: NEW PICS ARE HERE!!!

So we are all back to work now! Sean starts students on Monday and I have had them for 2 weeks already and love them thus far! The kids are really enjoying school. Megan has adjusted well and Devon is having some issues. he loves school, he is just having problems with being impulsive and listening. He's learning to deal though.

Logan is eating 3 meals a day now!! he loves all food so far except green beans which is not good since we eat them ALL the time! He really likes food! He weighs quite a bit, probably pushing 20lbs by now. He has 2 teeth, the bottom two andis sitting up. Occasionally will fall over but can sit on his own. He is still the worlds happiest and easiest baby I have ever met! Thank god for that! I needed it!

The room switched have gone well. Now Logan and Devon share a room and Megan has her pretty princess room to herself. Devon does well with Logan except sometimes he wants to be nice and share his stuffed animals with him by hurling them into the crib which then of course wakes Logan which then makes Mommy not to happy....

The older two are on such a routine now after school it crazy. Its nice though, they know what expected everyday when they get home.

Daily Schedule in Welge House!

3:00pm picked up by mommy then go to whatever stores we need to hit

3:30pm pick up Logan and go home

3:45pm Enter house, folders and lunch boxes on the counter, finish any snacks leftover in lunch box.

4pm: upstairs change out of uniform into play clothes.

4:15pm MOVIE TIME and Mommy makes dinner and feeds Logan dinner.

5:30pm: Dinner and clean up

6:15pm: Play outside

7pm: bath and PJ's... Logan to bed! (1 down 2 to go!)

7:30pm: Milk and stories... BED!!!

8pm: MOMMY BEDTIME!

August 29, 2010: Logan has his first teeth!! The day before he's 5 months old!

August 6, 2010: Logan had his first meal last night for dinner! Carrots and Rice and he loved it, took a little getting used to but he liked it!

July 5, 2010: So we have some bad news... I got an email saying our vacation in Orlando was cancelled! I am not happy to say the least. I have already send a nasty email and am waiting for a response as to why it was cancelled. We are looking for other options as of now and have found a few that are just as good as the original, I am just bitter about the whole thing. But either way we will have a wonderful vacation down with Gma and Gpa!!

Logan has graduated to the world of NO SWADDLING!!!! Thank god because he was way to big for the blankets!! He is fitting in 6 month old clothes now. he's really getting to be a cute chubby baby!! Heathly might be a better word. He has nice big belly laughs now and talks up a storm!! the kids love him to death and are able to srtop him from crying. They know to try the pacifier or make silly faces at him and it usually works. Very convenient!! Logan just laughs at everybody when they look at him! He's very sweet.

6/30/10: HAPPY 3 MONTH BIRTHDAY TO LOGAN!!

WOW summer is flying by!! One more week until Sean goes to Richmond for his state testing commitee, 2 weeks until we go to FL!! The kids are so excited about flying on a plane!! Hopefully it all goes well, we will see. The kids are great and doing well. We rotate who stays home each day and we are enjoying spending special individual time with each kid!!

6/29/10: Pictures of Devons party are here!! We had a fantastic day!! Adults had a blast and so did the kids!! We couldn't have hoped for anything better!! Seriously went perfectly and everyone had such a great time that it lasted from 3pm until 9pm!!!

6/26/10: Devon did pretty well at roller hockey, see the pics!! Tomorrow is his bday party all toy story themed!! Even the slip n slide is toy story!! Hoping the thunderstorms don't hit until after the party!! We made our cupcakes today that are all dye free because who knew that even white frosting has dye in it!!! INSANE! We blew up balloons, cleaned up, made all the food, now all we have to do in the morning is decorate with the streamers and balloons. Should be a good time!!

6/21/10: Devon started his roller hockey camp today!!! We'll see how he did! And I slept in until NOON!!! Ahhh SUMMER!!! Two kids at daycare and one with Sean at Hockey camp = Mommy SLEEPS!!

6/20/10: HAPPY FATHERS DAY SEAN!!

Things are great now that it is summer for all of us!! It is so nice to have this time together! All kids are doing well!

Devon just finished his first soccer season and his team was undefeated, not that that means anything at this age. He liked it! He is excited to be starting school in the fall. He is adding, subtracting, multiplying, spelling, reading, sounding out all words, writing, compare and contrasting!! I say he's well on his way to being a good student. He has also been doing really well since we started the "no dye" diet. He's a different kid! He had something by accident one take with Red 40 in it and we knew right away because of the change in him, its that drastic!!

Megan is also excited to be going to PreK next year! She has become my helper in every way. She adores Logan! She has also been working on her math and word skills and her writing. She does really well. We have realized that she is extremely creative and Devon is very mathmatical and linguistic.

Logan is now laughing and smiling like crazy and is just the cutest ever. He is really a great baby. Only cries when hungry and dirty!! Sleeps really well! He power eats all day then sleep really well at night. I'm still hoping those blue eyes stick around. He's so snuggly!!

Sean got a new job in Loudoun County and is thrilled to be leaving his old school. We can't wait to head to Florida in a month!! So much to do in the summer and so many projects to do!

6/19/10: HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY TO DEVON!!

5 YEARS AGO TODAY WE BECAME PARENTS!! SCARY THOUGHT, BUT WE THINK WE ARE DOING OK. THE KIDS ARE GREAT, WILL UPDATE MORE TOMORROW!! ENJOY THE PICS (GRANDMA OPP!!!) SORRY ITS BEEN SO LONG!

6/6/10: Happy Birthday to ME!!!

We have decided to fly to Florida!! I figured out it costs about $750 to drive down, and I found a deal online for $881 to fly all - four tickets!!! So we will travel on plane with 3 kids for the first time!!

6/3/10: Logan went for his 2 month check up yesterday. He is now 12 lbs 4 oz and 22 & 1/4 inches long. He looks like a chunker but is actually 100% average! He is doing very well is all categories. He had his first shots and last night his legs swelled up and he had a fever of 100.8. Looks like he has my reaction to tetanus shots! I always get a high fever with it.

Last night we took Devon and Megan to a carnival! They had a blast. We got them ride bracelets to ride all the rides they wanted to!! They had so much FUN! I have pictures and will post them as soon as i have a free minute!!!

5/22/10: Megan might be joining Devon at Pre-K... long story! We'll see. Rough week being my first week back and all but it went ok. Only 10 days left until school is done for the summer!! Can't wait.

Devon is currently at his soccer game with Daddy and Nanny, I'm tired so I stayed home with Meg and Logan. Logan is weighing approx 12 lbs now, his next check up is on June 2. We are going to pick strawberries this weekend. The kids can't wait, they love going and now its only 2 minutes away.

New eating habits are going really well around here. I haven't drank anything but water in 2 weeks!! Lost 5 lbs in this two weeks, 35 total so far!! Sean is down 15lbs.

Also Sean got a new job in Loudoun County!! WOOHOO!! Just waiting to sign the contract! I also switched jobs, same school different team. Now teaching 6/7th grade science instead of 7/8th grade!!

5/13/10: DEVON WILL BE GOING TO PRE-K NEXT YEAR!! We liked the private school we toured today and met his teacher. He will start there in August!!

5/13/10: Our house has gone on a lifestyle change. No sugar, whole grains and all natural foods!!! We have taken Devon off all food dyes, additives and msg and a massive change has occurred!!! Megan is going "free" soon too. Its amazing!! We have been having some issues with the county and Devon starting kindergarten, we don't want him to yet, but they won't let him in pre-k, they say he is too old and eligible for kindergatren, so its our only option, until now, we found a private school!!! Hopefully it all works out, then he will go to public kindegarten next year. lots more new will post again later must feed Logan!!

UPDATE: AUGUST 7^TH LOGANS CHRISTENING AND PARTY!! AFTER THE 5:30PM MASS We will be having individual parties for the kids this year, however family that comes into town for the Christening can celebrate that day and do not need to be here for their parties. So basically family party will be after the christening for their b-days.

4/30/10 HAPPY 1 MONTH BIRTHDAY TO LOGAN!!

Time is really flying by with this little guy. He is already about 9.5 lbs. We have the kids home for a three day weeknd! It Apple Blossom weekend around here which means everyone goes crazy! Theres a carnival and circus and craft shows, craziness!! Next weekend, Auntie Jenny and Uncle Mike and Asher will be here for Mother's day. Also next weekend will be Devons first soccer game!! Can't wait!

Devon's first soccer practice went really well. He listened and followed directions well, he played at goalie and gave Sean a thumbs up. so cute!!

4/25/10: The kids are doing great! We are having a great weekend. Devon starts soccer practice on Tuesday, first game on Mother's day weekend. Can't think of a better way to spend mother's day!! He's a Puma!! Megan will be going back to gymnastics soon, I just couldn't do it with her while prego!! Can't wait to get her back into it and it gives me a great work out.

Logan is doing well. He was awake and alert all day yesterday. Seriously only slept for maybe an hour total. It was ridiculous. He slept well last night thats for sure. He eats like a piggy! 24-30 oz in a day!! Craziness! Just three weeks left with the little man before I have to go back to work! UGH!

4/18/10:NEW PICTURES

We are making it through week 3 very cautiously, this is the begining of when colic can show!! Last evening he certainly sounded like Devon, screamed for quite some time!! He ate a total of 9 oz in 5 hours!!! He's a piggy!!

4/15/10: Logan went to the doctor today for his 2 week check up and all is perfect just like him!! He weighs 8 lbs 2 oz. Gaining beautifully, eats 3 oz every 3-4 hours!! He's going to be another Chunky dunk someday.

4/13/10: I am truly loving every minute with Logan! He is a wonderful baby and the other two kids are fabulous with him. Three kids thus far is no different that two kids and one in the arms. Sure at times it gets a little bit chaotic but its all ok. We were wise to never tell the kids to be quiet around Logan. He sleeps through anything. We never need to worry about them being to loud it great!! A lot of less stress that way!

He is eating well, sleeping well and is just a sweetheart! He snuggles and cuddles, everything you could ever want in your last child to remember it so sweetly!!

4/10/10: NEW PICTURES HERE TOO!!

Second day with just me and the kids... all the kids. Its oing pretty well. There are moments of slight chaos but that is to be expected in the transition period of adjusting. The kids are doing really well with Logan. Megan just loves him. If she could hold him 24/7 I think she would. He fell asleep in her arms this morning, it was so sweet. Seeing them all together is just a beautiful sight to see. Knowing that I can handle all of them is even better!! When its time to change him, its like a race to see who can get me the diaper the fastest and the wipes!! Thent o take the diaper to the trash. Its great!

On a separate note, we received a gift here with two outfits for Logan and a book for Megan and one for Devon. We absolutely love them all however there was no card or return address or anything to figureout where it came from. So Thank you to whom ever it is from, and please let us know so we can really thank you!!

3/31/10: Logan and I are doing well, and will be coming home tomorrow. He has his circumscion in the am then will be released around noon. He is an excellent baby so far!! Seriously, its unreal!! Only cries when being changed! I'll take it. We were admitted at 7:30am on Tues, water was broken at 8ish, Pitocin started at 3pm and epidural given. Then pushed for 5 mmutes once reached 10cm after a long day!! 5 MINUTES!! Because of the 5 min, he is still quite congested and didn't get all out of his lungs but he is fine. He looks just like Devon!! I will post pics as soon as I get home... PROMISE! If u want to really know what he looks like, just get out a pic of Devon!! Talk to you all soon!!

3/30/10: Logan Matthew is bor!!! 6:59pm, 20 inches, 7 lbs 14oz. He's perfect!!

3/29/10: 24 HOURS UNTIL THE EVICTION...INDUCTION BEGINS!!!

Tonight I am going to bed early, hopefully I can sleep better than I did last night, though I am wide awake today anyways. At 7:15 we will be at the hosp!! 7:30am hopefully the eviction will begin!

I have lots to finish up today, places to go, then to rest. Last day of rest. Remember to check the stories page if you don't see updates on the main page!! 3/28/10: ONLY 2 DAYS AT THE MOST!!! THEN HE WILL FINALLY BE HERE!

Everyone in this house seems to think today might be the day but I am sticking with Tuesday that way I don't get Iet my hopes up AGAIN! We'll see! Megan and Devon will be spoiled rotten either way while I am away. We have so much stuff for them, from leapster games to new DVDs and games!!! They are excited to know he is finally coming home! (SAME HERE!!)

3/27/10: Heading to Friendly's for breakfast today to celebrate our last weekend without the infant here! We have told the kids that he will be coming home in a few days. They expected him to be here this morning. We are trying to prepare them for Mommy not being here for a few days and for me being sore afterwards from "carrying Baby Logan for so long." If it actualy happened Tuesday it would help with preparing them for it because we could easily explain the plan to them, if it happens spontaneously before then (which I don't mind really either) it will be a little bit more dificult but I'm sure Daddy will come up with a good explanation. Sean is only staying at the hosp with me for the delivery, he will go home that night to be with the kids and work the next day, then come by the hosp afterwards. I would rather he be with the kids to keep a sense of "Normal".

We are very excited to bring him home finally!! I can't wait to see if we can tell who he looks more like... Devon or Megan... or himself!? From the sonogram pics, we all seem to think he looks just like Devon's profile. I wonder if he will share an eye color or have one all his own... like Blue!! Three times a charm right?? Devon has light Hazel that change color (very cool color) and Megan has Sean's light Brown eyes... Can someone share MY BLUE maybe?? Doubtful... even though we do have a 50/50 shot. Honestly don't care as long as he's healthy, this is just simple curiosity at this point. Anything to pass the time and waiting!!

Megan and Devon are very excited for Gma and Gpa coming too!! You guys have some nice Easter surprises waiting for you when you arrive!! See you in a week!!

3/26/10: NO LOGAN YET!! HE IS DEFINETLY A LOUNGER!! Just happy where he is with Mommy!! Induction date is scheduled for Tues March 30th at 7:30am. They will hook me up with IV's and all, then break my water, see how that goes and start Pitocin if they need to. She thinks breaking the water will do it but who knows. I am still only 1 cm (UGH) but 70% effaced!! Thats good! I was never more than 1.5 cm witht he other two before I had them either.

Maybe he will come befoe then. I would prefer not on the weekend. I don't want the kids to see me uncomfy and all. I don't want them to worry since I won't be home for like 2 days. Tues we would be able to drop them off at Miss Sandy's then head straight to the hosp, probably come home Thursday and see Grandma and Grandpa Friday!! Great timing!! We have so much stuff for them while I am away... presents and all. I mean Megan is a first time Big Sister and Devon's first time remembering becoming a Big Brother!! I think Devon is still holding out hope that Logan will be a 4 yr old to play with!!

I'll keep all posted I promise!!

3/25/10: Contractions today about 10 minutes apart, they were 6 minutes apart, then I went for a walk hoping to help and instead they slowed down!!! UGH! Anyways I have a doc appt at 4pm for an NST, dilation check and to set up the induction date!! There will be an end in sight somehow!! Who knows maybe things will start up again over here. I will update the site as best I can fromt he hosp whenever that is, but sometimes it will only allow me to do the stories page and not the front page, so make sure to check there too!!!

3/22/10: 38 weeks and still here... plenty of contractions but still here at home. Apparently the more kids you have the more "fake" ones you get and the longer they last for. I had no fake ones with Devon, one day of them with Megan and a week of them so far sporadically with Logan!! This child is trying my patience already. I'm just dying for him to get here!! So are the kids especially Megan.

Had another NST this morning, plenty of contractions to the point where they kept me a little longer just to watch them. Of course they went sporadic on me!! Seems to be the pattern. Soon I will get to stay there and bring him home.

Today was my first day off. Sean told me if work was making me miserable, it would make him miserable so I should just stay home... I said OK!!! And ran to call my sub within 5 minutes of him saying that!! No mind changing!!. My feet are not swollen today nor are my legs. I relaxed after my appt. Now I'm sitting outside with the kids while they play on the rock wall. Its just been beautiful around here!!! Mid 70's! Not complainging at all!

Grandmas and Peepa will be here on April 2!! Kids are very excited for them to come... and the Easter Bunny!! Me... I just want Baby Logan to get here!!

3/18/10: Today I have a dentist appt at 3:30 and then a doc appt at 4pm, thank god they are around the corner from each other!! I have another NST, hopefully will find out if we are making any progress... and maybe find out a definite induction date in case it comes to that (which it might, you never know.) Monday the 22nd would be the daythat I had both Devon and Megan, so I am hopeful for the lucky three on the same day of 38 weeks on the dot!! We'll see. Not holding my breath or anything. My massive sinus issue is only getting worse. The right side of my face is in such severe pain today, my teeth are killing me. I am so hopeful tomorrow is my last day here, but am fully aware i could be here all next week too!! I hope to god I am not!

At this point Logan can't drop any lower except to actually come out! Shirts look great because I almost have a waist because he is so low at this point. Although the bottom of my stomach hangs out of most shirts which is quite attractive I must say!! Humorous might be a better word for it!

My goal for today is to get a date set for induction so i have an end in sight!!

3/16/10: Yesterday NST went well. I asked if they could just find something simple to be wrong so they would induce me but nope, he is nice and active and healthy of course!! The model baby as I was told!

Today I am off to a prenatal massage after school!! It has gotten me through the whole day!! (I guess the building of space stations and model cars to race has too by my students) But I will really enjoy a massage at this point. Last two pregnancies, i went into labor within the week of having one!! I am hopeful but not sold!!

3/13/10: Yesterday I had contractions all day at school on and off. Allt he teachers kept coming to check on me, I was like this is normal you know!

My NST was good, all the contractions showed up on there too, they told me to keep an eye on them, I said ok as if you can't! Next test is Monday at 3pm!!

Today we have a ST. Patty's Day party to go to. I told Sean we should go b/c its his last shot propbable with a designated driver for a while!! NOT Breast feeding this time so the night I come home that beer fridge in the bar better be stocked! So I think we are all going, its also for kids!!

My face is killing me and swollen from the sinus issues. I really hope the doc is right that this will go away when he is born. The lining of the nose is the same as the uterus so this lovely congestion can come and stick around for months... like it has for me since December!! I hope I never have another sinus infection, my teeth are even hurting, and ONLY on the right side of my face!!!

Almost done!! I was on Labor and Delivery floor for my NST yesterday and as I walked in to check in, they wheeled a newborn right by me and I saw just how small they are, you forget when you have two so big now!! Can't wait and neither can the kids!!! They play with inaginary Logan all the time, giving him bottle and changing diapers and tring to make him stop crying. (which they make ll sound effects for too.)

3/10/10: WOW only a few days until I am seriously considered fullterm!!! WOW!! Next NST is on Friday, I'm not sure how much bigger I can really get, I'm ready, I really just want to bring him home at this point! So do Megan and Devon! Devon is all signed up and ready for school in the fall!!!! Big BOY!

3/7/10: Full blown sinus infection I'm sure, can't breathe, talk, swallow and my face feels like an elephant is on it!! The only thing i can take is benedryl and thats not working. No sudefed for me, before everyone suggests it... yes its safe for pregnancy but not for HBP!!

this bites! Had a great weekend, first Friday night our friends and their son Cooper came to play for the night, last night Aunt Kelly and Chris were here and we all had a blast!

If anyone still wants to know what we need for Logan, check the registry but also he needs socks!! Realized we had like none! Of course diapers and formula always welcomed!!! We have lots of clothes already!! He also could really use a pair of shoes or two sizes 1 or 2 or 3 even!!!

3/6/10: Great, now on top of all other pain and issues I get to be sick! Sinuses killing me, throat killing me, head hurts!!! Oh joy!! My face hurts. UGH!

3/5/10: Another day of tests done. U/S went well. Logan is now just about 6.5 lbs not bad, I was going to be happy as long as I didn't hear 7+lbs. He looks good in everyway!! He still likes to lounge and have his hands behind his head. Pics were not that great this time but then again the poor kid has less and less room to pose for the pics I guess. He passed another NST. I am anemic at the moment so they put me on iron! Oh joy for that!!

The plan so far is to induce the week of the 29th, unless of course I go before then on my own... this seems the likely option. They told e that they will not stop labor at this point, if I go they will let me have him given his size and all. I would love to have a 6 lb baby!!! WOW what a piece of cake that would be!!

Anyways, glad its friday!! We have friends coming over to play tonight. The kids will play Air hockey among other things and the adults will chill!! Tomorrow Aunt Kelly and soon to be Uncle Chris will be coming for the night!!! Should be lots of fun!!! Hopefully I can stay awake!

Next Tues. I have a field trip to the Air and Space museum, doc left it up to me if I want to go. I would rather go than stay with all the annoying kids!!! It shouldn't be that bad. There is an hour and a half tour (worst part) and an IMAX movie, plus the bus ride to get there..... I should be fine!! If anything the walking will help things along!!

3/3/10: WOW!! I need to brag about my Son!! He came home yesterday after a car ride with Daddy, and the boy is a math whiz!! Dady told me to ask him and any multiple of 10 +10 and that he would get it... OK...

So I said" Devon whats 70 +10" Devon says "80 Mom" Ok, "Whats 60+10"... "70 Mom, give me a big one..." OK.... "Devon what is 120+10?" He says, "130 Mom!" I was like, ok he knows some math. The he start with the counting by twos, sure the 2,4,6,8,10, thats obvious, but this kid starts any where you want. Like at 72....!!! 72, 74, 76 etc.... Blows my mind!!

He also does the.... "Mommy I'm thinking of a number between 74 and 76, what number could that be? " He counts by threes but not as well as twos.

He can also sound out any three letter word we tell him and spell it without seeing it. He reads his Dr. Suess books and tag books witho ut the pen!! (We make him read them first without the pen so its not a crutch for him) Holy Cow, my boy is growing up!! He is preparing a set of books for Logan that he wants to read to him after he is born!.

Tomorrow I have to take off (pity right!!) and get an ultrasound AGAIN (this makes #7 or 8, not sure) Might be the last time I see him before he's born, I get another at 38 weeks though. The I also have another Non stress test and doc appt ( which during the last NST I had a few contractions!! I've been having contractions on and off for a few days. They are the fakies but it still lets us know he's coming soon!! I actually had to ask the nurse... was that a contraction... I forgot what they started feeling like, its been three and a half years!!!

Sean is nervous about the labor and my blood pressure. He wants me to opt for a c-section if they would even do one. I prefer not to thanks. I've made it through two but If this kid gets over 9 lbs I might think about it!! I'm not that large of a girl, that would be difficult!! He was 5lbs 3 weeks ago!!! We'll see. Keep you posted!!!

2/28/10: Can't wait for the hockey game at 3pm!!! We have a b-day party at the discovery museum during the time of it but I will be TIVOing it!! Devon and I are going to the party, Megan and Daddy are going to see Cinderella play at Sean's High school together!! Daddy daughter day!! So cute and his idea too!! We are ready for Logan to come. We have all we need essential wise except I realized I do not have any of the thermal koals baby blankes that were so great for swaddling with the other two!! I will have to go get some today and make sure I have them! They are a necessity.

I am doing ok, little achy, and feeling larger lately, guess it comes with the territory. Found out I have an appt at Labor and Delivery on the day I turn 38 weeks for a non stress test.... convenient, since that would be the day I had both Devon and Megan on the dot!! Could I be that lucky!!!??? The stress that comes with watching the other two gets a little rough when its just me, I certainly can't move as quick if needed. Feet slightly swollen, I need to keep them up or so Nanny tells me, she's very good at watching out for me.

Hopefully today goes well!! Possible snow day on WED!! Bring it on at this point. I'm sick of snow, but it would just mean less days I have to go to work, and I'll take it!

2/27/10: Test was fine on Thursday! Next test in Monday at the Hosp. Every Monday and Thursday. Being high risk sure has its picky things. Its hard doing all these tests when you are a teacher. Other jobs you can just leave and stay an hour later at the end of the day to make it up, we can't do that, we have kids at a specific time. I have asked so many of my team members to cover my classes so I can save days but I just feel bad after a while. So I will be taking some half day here and there. Thursday the 4th I will be off the whole day b/c I have another ultrasound in the morning at 10am and the Non stress test at 4pm. There is just not enough time to go 45 minutes back and forth to work. Its not worth it. I guess 35 weeks is when the uncomfy part really starts. I really pity those that go to 42 weeks past their due dates. UGH! SO happy that can't be me!! My bag is packed, outfits put away. Auntie Jenny sent back all of Devon's clothes and Baby Asher's too. I have plenty for now. It was nice to sit there and look through them and remember so many of them. Sean even remembered some of them, especially the first two we ever bought for him!! WOW, so long ago.

2/25/10: On my way to my second Non stress test for Logan. I am fearing my BP may be high today. I have a headache and am roasting, however the roasting part can be an anyday thing to. It the combination of the two that worries me. I forgot my BP cuff and machine at home today!! Hopefully I don't get sent away to the hosp tonight. I'm sure all will be well. I'll keep you posted. Those on Facebook, will likely see my updates if I end up going to the hosp. keep fingers crossed. I will try to post a belly picture, beecause I know some people want to see how large and in charge I really am.... MOM!!!

2/23/10: Had the first of many Non Stress Tests for little Logan!! He and I passed with flying colors so far, next is on Thursday. I go to the hosp once a week and the doc once a week now! His crib bedding came. Our jungle room is now complete!!! Stocked up on wipes (which we haven't bought in forever) on ebay!! Diapers of course we are starting to buy now too. Formula is soon as well. Might as well stock up gradually, we are going to need it one way or the other!!

We now believe that all of Megan lovely behavior is because of Logan. She is really excited for himt o come, but I think she is beginning to realized even subconsiously that she is no longer the baby. She gave up her room... baby stuff is moving in, we have been tougher on her etc. She will learn to deal with it all but I know it must be hard. We have been having Mommy and Megan time to try and ease the pain I guess you could say. Luckily she is the only girl so that will help. And in a year she will have her own room back. Or sooner if Logan is a good sleeper (FINGERS CROSSED!)

2/20/10: Some may have already seen this story on facebook but yesterday was an unusually bad day for Megan. We went to the mall (Nana and I) with the kids and they were ok, they went into the playground (the point of the trip). We went shopping, the fits and whining continued from Megan. She never stopped, she was unruly. This is not normal. I swear if I wasn't in public the child would have had a more severe red toosh! Then we got in the van to go home and she scratched Devon's face to which I scratched her arm to show her that it does hurt... now she screamed the entire way home from Hagerstown! We muted her out with the stereo. She refused to keep on her shoes or keep them tied so I took them away. When we got home I sent Devon inside (who by the way was an angel all day!!!!) Nana escorted him and I proceeded to make megan walk to the house, parking in the farthest space from the house, with no shoes or socks on. Yes some parts are still icy and very cold, yes she threw herself on the ground and had a massive fit at least two times expecting me to come pick her up... I just sat on the porch and waited for her to make her way to the house... eventually. Her feet did get cut up a little

2/18/10: Looks like Baby Logan does not want to be left out of an elite club in our house!! At my last appt it turns out he is measuring two weeks ahead which is exactly what the other two did and both came at 38 weeks on the dot!! I'm not all that uncomfy yet, the hip had started a little, I'm sure that will only get worse as the days count on but I'm hanging in really well!! I have only put on 18 lbs so far at 33 weeks!!!! That thrills me!

Anyways, I now go twice a week to the doc to be hooked up to a machine and watch the baby just to make sure he's ok b/c of my HBP. One day is at the Hosp, the other at the doc office. I'll keep you posted. He's already head down and ready, he weighs 5 lbs!!! and is 18 inches long!!

2/13/10: UPDATE: Baby Logan is doing well. At the ultrasound today he measured approx a week ahead is some areas, so we'll see. He weighs 4lbs 14oz currently!! Some cute pics are included of Logan and his new room!!

I braved the roads last night to get to a large kids consignment sale with a friend and dinner, we go tot he sale everytime they have it. Its like our night out, we were not about to let ugly roads take our night away!! Getting there was a different story, the roads are UGLY!! AWFUL!!! They have already cancelled school for Monday for me and it was just a teacher work day. Inthe last two weeks wer have work 1.5 days, Sean only one!!! This is nuts!! We assume Sean will have no spring break and have the extra time added to his work day, usually 20-30 minutes is added on to the instructional day time. My county cannot add on days per our contract (HeeHee) so the latest I can go is June 9th... Sean can go until July most likely!!! They might be able to take my spring break but we aren't sure about it. I jus can't believe we are doomed for another 5 inches Monday night!! That alone normally gets us out for a day or so! Ridiculous!! I will likely go back for a couple of weeks then leave to have Logan. My year is almost over.

My Ultrasound is at 9:30am today, i feel like going out on these roads again like having a hole in head but what do you do. Hopefully I get some more pics of this beautiful kid!! I have more pics of this kid than either of my others before birth. Devon I had one ultrasound... Megan I had 3 b/c of placenta previa but Logan I have had 4 already with more to come, at least one more today and another in 2 weeks and so on to make sure he's growing ok, due to the High Blood Pressure (HBP). So far the HBP has been doing fine. But this would be the time frame when it will spike. The biggest fear i that it spikes which leads to seizures and possible stroke in me. Thats why I go so frequently to the doc and monitor it at home all day everyday.

We don't need much stuff, but there are some things we really need that we got rid of and the essentials of course. We really need the monitor, thats the one thing we don't have at all. We are getting so excited!! We are dying to know what # 3 will be like! Megan has moved in with Devon and we started getting the other room ready for little Logan. Megan was doing well and then tonight put on act as if she was "sad and mad" as she put it. We had a chat that the room would again eventually be hers. She is truly thrilled to be roomng with Devon!! They love slumber parties every night! They are doing rather well with it!

1/24/10: Had a great time yesterday with Aunt Kelly picking out a wedding dress!! Its absolutely beautiful!! Can't wait to see you in it on your special day!

Today i feel awful, my ear hurts, throat hurts, can't breathe, this in never going away!! Devon is now coughing badly, and I will likely take him to the doc tomorrow just to make sure. I will try to get some pics up soon i promise!! Its just been exhausting!!!

1/15/10: Long time no update. I will try to post all the xmas pics over the weekend. Its been crazy around here lately. Everyone has been sick. Devon is now well, Megan has pneumonia, sean has pink eye and no voice and I have all my issues related to being prego and my HBP! Great times. Once everyone is better things should be great! The kids have been troopers through all of it. Poor Megan hasn't been sleeping b/c she gags whenever she coughs. She has had the 103 fever since Sunday, finally today after 4 chest xrays at the hosp we figured out she has pneumonia. Big antibiotic, and rest!! I have worked a total of 1 day this week!!! So much for maternity leave! I'll be lucky if I can afford to take a total of 6 weeks off.

Also looks like Logan will be at least a March 29, 2010 baby. The latest they will allow me to go is March 29 at 39 weeks!! The other two came at exactly 38 weeks but they measured big by 2 weeks. This one is right on schedule, measuring 2lbs 14 oz already and about 16 inches long. Babies of moms with HBP tend to be smaller, for me I guess smaller is average size...LOL! Not thrilled about the idea of inducing but oh well, whatever is best for me and the little guy. At least i don't have to worry about affording a Diamond birthstone for him ever!!! And he will be here for Easter!! I will of course find a small enough bunny suit for him!! It is my duty to do that much!. Megan wil be moving into Devon's room as soon as she is pneumonia free and sleeping at night. She has just been miserable. The room is all ready just needs her bed.

After she is in, I can finish painting Logan's new room and put up the crib... again!!... for the last time. and change everything back to disney babies. Megan and devon's room will be split downt e middle. One window and one side will be superheroes and the other window and side of the room will be princess!! Should be a really interesting room, but I see now reason why they have to choose, the room is gigantic!!! Kind of funny the kids have taking a severe liking to Wolverine lately, since Wolverine's real name is Logan... no coincidence there of course!! Megan is obsessed with x-men and marvel and even the superfriends. She can't get enough. She will quiz us on each one. Somehow our batman/dracula dvd got ruined while on vacation so we need to find a new one, she adores that movie!! Loves Batrman. Maybe I should just do the bedroom in superheroes. But she also loves her princesses.

Ann Marie, just wait till you see the pictures in the belle dress you gave her!!! Oh wow!!

12/22/09: We started our christmas break on Friday!! Thats awesome!! A full two weeks off!! Doesn't get any better than that!! We finally got out of the house today, well everyone else did but me. I have not left yet. Been in here since Friday!!! Snow is still nice and deep outside!! See everyone real soon!! Gma and Gpa get here on Thursday afternoon, Jenn and Mike and Asher get here on Wed!!! The we see Dan and lisa and company on SUNDAY!! Can't wait!!

12/20/09: We welcomed the 2 feet of snow we got yesterday!! Sean already is off until WED, then our break begins and we don't have students wed so thats nice, so far I have Monday off and I'm hoping for Tuesday as well. The kids played like crazy in the snow, we played christmas music, made christmas cookies and chili for dinner!! Great day. We even exchanged presents too!! Sean got his PS3 since he is going to be home for a while!! We will be going sledding today, by WE I mean the kids and Sean. Wish I could, it would be so much fun!!

I had a blast creating the videos of the elves doing disco and country. SO FUNNY!!

12/6/09: HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNTIE JENNY!!

Kids had a blast in the snow. It was so great to have the kids playing in the snow and the Christmas music being pumped outside from the touchscreen jukebox!! Gotta love having speakers outside! Kida and dogs had so much fun! Took some pictures... some are better than others.

12/5/09: The kids start gymnastics today again!! I'm sick as a dog, glands swollen, sore throat, ears hurting, sneezing like crazy...face just hurts!! Good day! We will likely go outside and play in the snow today, it has already started coming down and its only 7:30am!! Hope we can still make it to gymnastics this morning!!

WVU plays Rutgers today at noon!! GO WVU!! If we win and Pitt loses, then we go to Gator Bowl vs. Florida State!! We would love to go to the Gator Bwl since its in Jacksonville FL, but it falls over the week when we are in Deep Creek, so we will just watch it!! This is if all works out. Bobby Bowden is retiring from FSU and used to coach at WVU and he wants to play WVU for his last bowl game!! Would be cool!

11/28/09: Happy turkey day really late!! We had a great day, then went shopping on Black Friday, I dragged Nanny with me and I had a blast, but will never go to Walmart again at 4:30am!!! craziness!! Today I am taking Devon to get a haircut... hopefully he will sit fo it. I have given up trying myself he won't let me do it. They have their pictures tomorrow!! Lets nope for a good one!

11/7/09: Today is the day that I possible give up a child for free!! Just kidding but I couldn't be more angry with HER!! 3yr old + liquid foundation = swirling stain on carpet!!!

She got the screaming of a lifetime and sent to bed!! She had to stare at the floor while I attempted to clean it for ever!!! She is currently sleeping, and if she knows what is good for her she will stay that way!! UGH!!

But yes I of course still love her!!!

11.4.09: TODAY IS THE BIG DAY!!! AT 2pm SEAN AND I WILL FIND OUT WHAT CADBURY IS (hopefully)!!! We are very excited, both of us prefer a boy but we will be delighted either way. We will also find out if there are any heart defects, one of their concerns because of the medication I was on in the beginning. Also HBP can cause slow growth, so we will see if Cadbury is on track or behind. This would be a first to have a child that is behind!!! We are a little nervous, but there was nothing we could do about any of it at this point. I will update of course later tonight!!!

Halloween was great! I have pictures to post of course! We went to our church and did a Trunk or Treat event. The kids had a blast. They have a dinner first, then the kids could play games, the New Father sang with the kids, then we had the parade and trick or treating. It was great! The kids were wired by the time we got home! On halloween we all stayed home and gave out candy. It was fun. Megan was Aurora by day and Cinderella by night!! Devon was Spiderman, but did not wear his mask, which I didn't figure he would. He is such a texture kid!

I have yet to be able to fine a Flu or Swine flu shot for me!!! Being high risk is scary and I wpould like to get them ASAP!! The kids had both their flu and swine flu shots already, they go for the booster at the end of the month. We are not taking any chances with them and their asthma issues!! And if I hear the stat that 1 in every 3 Prego women die from swine one more time, I'm likely to hit someone!! Just kidding, its just a little nerve racking!

10/25/09: Only 1.5 weeks left until we find out what "Cadbury" is!! We have names picked out somewhat... for a girl I think we are set, for a boy we are stuck between two names. We decided to stop thinking about them until we know what it is. I still swear its a girl. But we will see. Things around here have been rather great lately. The kids have been doing well. They are drinking out of human cups!! No more sippies!!...for now...! Both are healthy (knocking on wood as I say that of course!!) We can't wait for xmas and our trip with the WHOLE family to deep creek. Very excited!! First time I have seen my brother at xmas in years!!!

Cadbury is growing well, right on target as far as we know. I will know more of course on Nov. 4th at the u/s. I am back on blood pressure meds now. That didn't last long at all. I am considered high risk, my hips are already in rough shape which was our biggest concern with having a third. I think I will be lucky if I make it to the end of this without being bed ridden! I have a hard time walking or even sitting now for too long of periods of time and I'm only 17 weeks! Ugh, we knew this was a possibility.

10/8/09: Home with kiddos today whom are both awake upstairs pretending to be napping... Miss Sandy's husband has swine flu and pnemonia and has been in the hospital for a few days. Megan was tested for swine, but is negative. She does have bronchitis and a massive ear infection. However, she is in the 95% for height and weight which is perfect. The %'s should match if she was at 50% for weight she would be extremely underweight. She is on target if not ahead in all areas or so they told me.

10/1/09: I can't beilieve it is October already! Had my NT Scan, and I have a 1 in 3100 chance of Downs.... and a 1 in over 10,000 chance for Trisomy 13/18... GREAT numbers!! Baby looked great. I have new pictures and will post hopefully soon. Sorry its taking so long, but some nights between the kids and the Newbie I have no energy at all. I have no idea what I complained about with the first one!!! I am High Risk Pregnancy, and as of 30 weeks I go every week to the doc and at 34 weeks I get to start going twice every week!! We told the kids...Megan is thrilled and kisses the belly and doesn't care if its a boy or girl she just knows it a baby and wants to play with the baby! Devon, wants one like him, not one like Megan (meaning a boy not a girl!) But really I think he could care less about having a baby around right now.

Devon can write his entire alphabet with chalk in the driveway and his name. We are still having issue with a pencil or marker but we are working on it. They can both count in Spanish, Devon can also count in German now.

Had another appt yesterday with the doc and everything seemed great with baby. Cadbury's Hearbeat had consistantly been in the 150's which means absolutely nothing for gender. I did however check the chinese gender chart... which was correct for my last two, and it says... GIRL!!! ugh! But thats ok. We will see. We will be happy either way. I just pray for not another drama queen.

Halloween is coming soon and the kiddos have their costumes all ready. Megan is being 'Rella', better known to most as Cinderella, and Devon is being Spiderman!!!

9/24/09: TOMORROW MEGAN IS 3!!!! WOW! Where does the time go. Its shocking to me to think that when 'Cadbury' is three Megan will be 6 and Devon will be 7!!!! WOW!

I had my NT scan yesterday, no results yet. It consisted of an ultrasound and finger prick. It tells the most accurate number for downs, trisomy 13 and 18. I have great new pictures of Cadbury though!!. I will post new pics tonight!! LONG baby!! Heart beat of 158!! Nive and healthy. I will have another U/S on Nov 4. That is the big one!! We are finding out what Cadbury is, and we also have to check the heart. The HBP meds I was one can cause heart defects if u r on it early in the pg. But the chances are extrememly small. I am not worrying about it until they tell me there is something to worry about. There is nothing I can do now to change it. I have another OB check up next wed, the 30th.

9/13/09: almost into that second trimester!! woohoo! We are not doing anything about megans upper lip right now, the therapist said she was advanced for her age in speech so he sees no reason to go slicing away in her mouth now.

9/4/09: Woohoo, first full week of school just about over. Loving my new school. The kids are slightly sick at the moment, we think its allergies but not positive. Megan goes to a speech therapist on Friday the 11th to get a 2nd opinion about her upper lip and whether or not to laser it now. (its attached to her gums... i.e. she's "lip tied") Devon goes to the dermatologist on Tues the 15th to check on his face, he has his little mole, but lately has been scratching it, so we may just get it removed. I have an appt for early genetics testing on the 22nd, then another OB appt on the 30th. Megan also has her 3 yr old check up on October 7th!! Hard to believe she will be three!!! (she acts like 16!!!)

8/19/09: Some people already know but this is the offical news... MEGAN IS FINALLY GOING TO BE A BIG SISTER!!! And of course Devon a big brother again!! We are very excited, the baby is due on April 5th, its our very own easter bunny. Sean has been calling it Cadbury!! We have not told the kids yet, we are waiting a while probably until they comment on my belly!!

8/6/09: NEW PICTURES!! GMA AND GPA WERE HERE! We had a great time with everyone, the party went great, just look at the pictures! Our new bedroom set arrived, the pic of the full bed got misplaced way down in the list of pics and I can't get it, I will repost one at some point. They are beautiful!. Thanks to everyone that was able to make it to the party and for all the gifts for the kids!! They love them all!

7/26/09: just 1 more day until Gma and Gpa get here!!! I can't believe it has been 7 months since I saw them!!! The kids are excited and I have been telling them they are going on a day trip with Gma and Gpa to NJ to see family. I would go too, but my back/hip are horrible right now. They just hurt a lot! I think the kids will have fun!

7/26/09: Do you know how nice it is to just sit here in a chair and have both kids just get up and potty when they ned to on a saturday morning so I don't have to move!! What a concept! I just have to sometimes keep an eye on Megan, for some reason she all of sudden thinks washing her hands means, in the toilet after she pees....! Then wipes them on the towel, lovely right?

We are all very excited that gma and peepa will be here on Tuesday!! The kids can't wait! We have been trying to hang pics on the walls and stuff lately. Its really starting to look more like home. We still all walk around thinking, "my gosh WE live here!!" This morning the kids and I saw mama and 2 fawns in the yard. They were so cute! Couldn't get the camera out fast enough. So nice to be able to update the site.

7/24/09: FINALLY NEW PICTURES HAVE ARRIVED!! 164 OF THEM!

So Many things have been going on around here. I finally found the harddrive to upload pictures, they are slightly out of order but thats ok.

Grandma and Grandpa will be here on Tuesday, the kids are very excited. It's nice that they are finally at the age when they remember them and get excited! The bday/housewarming is next saturday in a week!!!! Haven't really heard from anyone but thats ok, we will all still have lots of fun!!

WOW, how fast summer flies by. We have about 3-4 weks until school starts again. UGH! Excited and scared about a new job! We have the kids home this whole week and we have lots planned for them

8/26/09: Had my first scare of this pregnancy today and almost ended up n the ER. I had a feeling my BP was soaring and Iwas right. I was driving to Winchester to get the kids and my heart starting pounding, I felt hot, instant headache...etc. So, I stopped at CVS and used their BP machine, turns out I was right, 148/100, HR of 115!! So I called the doc and they decided to put me back on medication and said that if I did not feel better and it did not drop in 1 hour that I was to go to the ER, luckily within the hour it did drop tp 118/83, I have a home BP monitor! Hopefully now it will remain stable. This was one of the fears of a third kid, my HBP, this will likely throw me into High Risk now. GREAT! The only other fear is my back and hip, whch are starting to do a bit better and I have not taken the muscle relaxers or tylenol in about a week!! Had our first day of classes today, all went well in the new school!!

8/23/09: Only 2 days until we once again have students. Sean will likely only have them a few weeks until he starts his new job in another county (fingers crossed). I like my new school, very structured and students actually have to follow some rules!! What a concept! There are new pictures in case you did not notice. I have been tossing some names at sean and he keeps tossing them in the trash... This poor child will be lucky if it has a name, we used the two we easily agreed on already!! Maybe it will keep the name "Cadbury" forever!

8/22/09: WOW, I guess I was really spoiled during that first pregnancy, you don't realize how lazy you really are when prego with no other children until you have two to chase around. I am exhausted. I forgot how tired you get in these first 3 months! We went to a bday party for a little girl today, kids had fun. Tomorrow we have Sean;s soccer game that the kids and I are going to watch, then I am taking the kids out with a friend and her girls to play, maybe to the city pool...! Should be a good time! Nanny and I went shopping at a huge sale this morning and would have spent a total of 650 bucks, but with our coupon and the sale we only spent.....$236!!! Thats right!!! We made a killing!! 7/17/09: WE ARE IN THE NEW HOUSE AND IT IS AWESOME!! BETTER THAN WE EVER COULD HAVE IMAGINED! We are moving right along with the unpacking, the kids absolutely love the house! We spend all our time outdoors in our beautiful yard with the "bazelles" or deer as most people would refer to them. Devon thinks they are gazelles but calls the bazelles. Now they call them deer but the name has stuck with us adults of course! This house is amazing, its like being on vacation every day!

More BIG news!!! I now have TWO, thats right TWO potty trained kids!!! Both are in big kid undies all the time, we haven't bought pullups in over two weeks!!! We will soon be rich!! Megan just "became" potty trained out of nowhere. Like my mom always said, my brother took forever and she didn't even remember training me. Same way with my two. Devon just decided one day he was ready. Devon even naps in big boy undies. Just night time we are still in overnights as precaution for a while. We have to fight to get Devon to wear them and convince Megan its only for the night.

6/29/09: JUST HAD THE WALK THRU TONIGHT AT THE NEW HOUSE, MOVERS COME TOMORROW MORNING!! CLOSINGS AT 10:30 AND 11:30!! KIDS ARE AT MISS SANDY'S FOR THE NEXT TWO NIGHTS AND THE DOGGIE IS AT THE KENNEL... WISH US LUCK! NO UPDATES UNTIL JULY 13TH WHEN WE HAVE INTERNET AGAIN!

6/25/09: Megan is now a big kid for sure!! She has been in big girl undies for three days with just one tiny accident yesterday! We are so proud of her. Now if we could just throw out that lovely attitude with the diapers that would be great! Poor Megan is now sleeping on the floor... the floor which means no mattress or bed!! We got rid of her bed and donated it to someone who really needed one. She will have Devon's mattress and her canopy bed in the new house. Devon gets a full bed. Kind of funny that Megan wil be sleeping on my mattress that I had when I was a kid, and in Auntie Jenny's canopy bed, and Devon will be sleeping on Sean's old Mattress from when he was a kid. Talk about hand me downs!! They will both have sweet dreams.

I have so many pictures that I am just dying to put on here. When we move in I am hooking up a portable harddrive to this laptop so that I can start uploading some of them and the move. We will not have internet at the new house until the 13th of July, everything else will be hooked up as of the 30th of June. Or phone number is still the same. We bought the kids all kinds of new games the other night like Sequence for kids, and mickey yahtzee and disney princess yahtzee, and megan a viewfinder with Beauty and the beast slides. The poor things are so deprived and have virtually nothing to play with and it was starting to show. They have been pretty good considering everything. They are excited for new rooms and the new house. They love it there. We go to visit it often. Just a few more days of craziness. Megan is almost as tall as Devon, at some point she will pass him up probably around 5/6th grade when the girls get that big growth spurt. Boys don't get it until around 7th/8th grade.

6/20/09: Today Megan has joined the ranks of the big kids! She is having her first day in BIG GIRL PANTIES! Purple of course! She is extrememly excited and we wanted to start this before the new house b/c we don't really care about hese carpets anymore! She's a big girl now! Could we possibly be done with diapers??!! Crossing my fingers but not expecting it!

6/19/09: HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY TO DEVON!!

Tonight we are having a small party for Devon of course. He picked out his cupcakes, and I set up balloons and I have two goodie bags for them. All spiderman themed!! Their other party will be special agent oso themed. We of course are having his real party with Megan's on August 1st, and now the party will also be for Asher as well!!! And a house warming party!! We will be quickly unpacking and getting the house ready! So it will be Devon's 4th, Megan's 3rd and Asher's 1st birthday!! I just wish Kaylee and Ryan could join in on the party fun!!

6/18/09: WOW my little Devon will be 4 tomorrow!! My how time flies!! This house is getting to look like one gigantic storage closet! All part of the experience! We actually found someone willing to mow that lawn of ours for only $50, which includes weedwacking! Can you believe it! He's a neighbor, retired and has been doing it for the past few months for the current owners. Awesome!!!! We can't wait to move, 12 days!!

6/13/09: Sean spent the night last night at his HS guarding the field. I guess some kids like to destroy the football field the night before graduation. So he and 3 of his friends get to guard it which also gets them out of work on monday and going to graduation today!! He got home at 6:30am. I got up with the kids at 5:30am, we went to eat at McDonalds for breakfast, then I took them to Target and got them new sandals, then to the playground for a few hours. The kids had a great time. Then they took a bath and went to sleep!! Good day so far.

6/4/09: HIS MOM'S HOUSE SOLD FASTER THAN OURS DID!!! ONE DAY ON THE MARKET, ONE SHOWING...FIRST OFFER!!! DONE!!! PAPA MUST BE WATCHING OVER US AND WANTING THIS TO WORK AND FOR US TO BE TOGETHER. HE CLOSING DATE IS CURRENTLY jULY 20TH BUT WE ARE TRYING TO MOVE IT UP. WOW!!!

6/1/09: Closing has been moved up!! We will now close and move on June 30th!! Not that much time to pack an entire house of stuff but thank god we are almost done with school so that our whole day will just be packing!!! The kids know the new house now. They have been there so many times. As we are driving there, they think we are going through a jungle b/c there are so many pretty trees along the way. Then Devon says, "Megan we are going to the new house!" And they love the hills! So excited!!

5/30/09: WE NOW HAVE A RATIFIED CONTRACT ON OUR HOUSE!! OUR CLOSING WILL BE JULY 2ND (my due date with Devon, HA!). 5/25/09: In one week we had 2 offers on the house!! The one we got yesterday we think is a good one, we are going to counter it some but either way I think we will take it!!! Our closing date would be July 10th (happy anniversary to us!!), we are going to try and get it a bit earlier b/c Sean leaves for Richmond just a few days after that . So excited!!

I only have 9 days of school left with student 11 total. This thurs I have a field trip to Medievil times again! I will miss going there next year at my new school, but I will be teaching 8th grade and they go to hershey park!!! June 5th we have a pool party all day for the last day of school. And with al the talent shows and field day's and other things at school its like I only really have about 4 days left!! Works for me!

We are planning a trip to Sesame place with a large group of friends. Its $50 to go alone or if you have a group of 15 or more its only 22!! and you can schedule a lunch time and have a place to sit automatically, no searching. Billiant! So I think June 19th we are going there, just a little b-day surprise on Devon's birthday!

5/19/09: Our bid was accepted on the new house!!! Now all we ahve to do is sell our house! Easier said than done! There is a back up offer on the house we want, so its a race to sell our houses. Whoever sells first gets the new one!! We'll see, we have our fingers crossed but not getting our hopes up to high. 5/11/09: HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL THE MOMMY'S OUT THERE!!!!! I HAD A FANTASTIC MOTHER'S DAY. I GOT A NEW CHARM FOR MY PANDORA BRACELET FROM SEAN, ITS A SOCCER BALL. WE SPENT SATURDAY IN DC GOING TO A DC UNITED GAME, HAD A BLAST, SPENT THE NIGHT IN ALEXANDRIA, THEN WENT TO HIS SOCCER GAME THE NEST MORNING AND THEN STOPPED AT FRIENDLY'S ON THE WAY HOME AND PICKED UP THE KIDDIES!!!! THANK YOU TO NANNY FOR WATCHING THE MUNCHKINS SO WE COULD ENJOY THE TIME TOGETHER.

I GOT THE JOB!! I WILL BE SWITCHING TO A NEW MIDDLE SCHOOL IN MY COUNTY! WOOHOO! 7TH AND 8TH GRADE!!

4/30/09: We still are without computer at home. Its killing me with how many pictures I have to put up!!! I do have some updates, I have an interview today at another middle school in my county, and possibly one next week or so at the HS in our town!! Either one I would gladly take!! We have been spending so much time outdoors with the kids and the weather has just been beautiful. The 92 degree day was a bit much, but thats ok! The kids are doing great. Its scary to think that if we wanted to we could be registering devon for Pre-K right now, but we have decided to hold him out a year. As teachers we know the benefits of that!!!

4/18/09: WOW HOW FAR WE HAVE COME!! I put up old pictures on the main page, i just can't believe how much they have grown and so fast!!!

4/13/09: We have no computer still and probably won't for a long time. I have to update at school or when Sean brings home his laptop from school. But I can't do any pictures until I have a new computer to uplad them to!!! I have so many pictures it will take me hours to upload whenever I finally get to!!

We had a great week. We have started looking at new houses!! Not quite sure if we really want to move but we are keeping our options open in this good market for buying! We looked at one already and have a couple of others to see maybe. We have also decided that we are 'redo'ing our house. we have rearranged alot of furniture and gotten rid of lots of stuff, i mean lots of stuff!!

We had an excellent easter minus the two kids and their sore bottoms. We hid the eggs the night before and when the kids got up I gave them their baskets and tey colored the egg cookies I got them (or the bunny got them) with the food coloring markers they came with, then of course enjoyed eating them. Then when Daddy got up we had chocolate chip pancakes and bacon!! Then we did the easter egg hunt downstairs in the rec room. They found over 40 eggs. I discreetly took away half of them so they could only eat so many jelly beans that early in the morning and now they get more today! We also dyed our eggs that morning since we hunt for plastic ones! The kids played all day while daddy and mommy kept on cleaning and rearranging. After their naps we went outside for 3 hours!! Sean and I collected sticks with the kids and then I built a fire and we burned all the brush we had collected and Sean built and awesome fort for the kids with the cut of huge tree stumps! They love it. We enjoyed the fire. I built a great one! Then we went inside and had mini ice cream sundaes. The kids loved them. I also made Sean a banana cream pie, HIS FAVORITE!! We had steaks for dinner, the kids went to bed and Sean and I watched a movie, had popcorn and peeps!!! GREAT EASTER!!!!!

4/11/09: Well Happy Easter to all!! We will be spendng it up to our elbows is vaseline and diaper cream!! Both kids have had diarrhea for about 3 days again and its acid poop and so both their bottoms are open sores and bleeding. Poor Megan has about 50-60% of her bottom area as open sores. If they even see me touch the wipes they hysterically start crying and try to run away. We are bribing them with anything we can think of, from lollipops to cookies to jellybeans!!! We will likely take them to the pediatrician tomorrow which I am sure will cost fortune to go in not only on a Sunday but Easter Sunday, but I can't let them go thru this much longer. They are miserable. I may even let them do Easter again next weekend!! That way I know they got to enjoy it fully!! Anyways, hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!!

4/5/09: We went out shopping today after church and breakfast. Nanny and I took the kids to Michaels and to Joann fabrics. I had to by "Easter Bunny" stuff!!! Devon was a big boy and wore his big boys undies and made it the whole day dry to all the stores and went potty when he had to go!! So proud of him. He has been dry for so long now in his big boy pants!! It has also saved us quite a bit of money now too!! Only one to buy pullups for!

We are having a fantastic weekend around here, last night we had a cookout, cheeseburger, corn on the cob, tater tots, the kids were in heaven. Devon had 4 ears of corn!!! Just a great weekend!!

Sean brought his laptop home from school so we didn't have to be disconnected from the world!! But still can't upload any pictures! UGH!

4/4/09: Sorry everyone, its going to be a whlie. Computer guy came and went and we need a new computer, thermal sensors are shot on the motherboard which would be 60% of the cost of a new computer so we might as well just get one!! Oh joy! As soon as we have one I will update with pictures. PROMISE!!

4.3.09: Sorry about the lack in pictures, the computer guy is coming this afternoon so hopefully we will have some up over the weekend. I have ones of Megan in her pretty princess dress!!! She loves her dress now and twirls around!! She is now known as Princess Megan in the house! Looking forward to hopefully seeing you little baby Asher, Auntie Jenny and Uncle Mike at Easter!! We know its complicated but we hope to see you !!!!!! Today will start my spring break as of 2:30!!!

Tonight i am taking the kids to Cici's pizza with kerry, Zoe and Lindy, then we are taking all four kids to see Annie at her school, its a free play!! So we figure if the kids are bad... then we can leave without feeling bad!! We will have a 4, 3, 2 and a 4 month old!! Should be a fun time just with the 2 of us!! Then next week i am changing Megan's border in her room to princess and giving her Auntie Jenny's canopy bed!! Thanks Auntie jenny!! I even got her the new canopy top to go with it!! Then Devon will be getting his real bed too!! Grandpa Opp's old one (my grandpa!!) The off to the Baltimore Zoo on Thursday!! Aunt kelly if you want to meet us there, feel free!! We would love to have you join us!! Nanny and I have been dying to take them there for a while.

3/31/09: Devon is back to being a potty trained little boy! Yippee! No new pictures for a while, our computer is busted!!

3/26/09: I am home with Devon now, he has finally caught it. We knew it could only be a matter of time. He is so smooshy when sick, hate to say it but I love it when he's like this. Its the only time he's really cuddly. Megan is my Snuggler. He insists on watching all the disney movies that I have lithographs for in Megan's room, and we must watch them in the order they are on the wall. We have gotten through Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Tarzan, Oliver and Co. now we are on Mulan... I'm not sure what is next, I think its Hunchback! That will be after nap. Anything to keep him calm!!! He's had a total of 12 crackers in 2 days!! I am finally better, Sean is almost better, Megan is better!! We are getting there, I'm just hoping we don't all get it again now! Devon is still using the potty even with the diarrhea!! What a big boy!!! So proud of him!

3/24/09: WE HAVE ONE POTTY TRAINED CHILD!!! DEVON HAS BEEN IN BIG BOY UNDIES NOW FOR A FEW DAYS AND DOING GREAT!!! YIPPEE!!!! FINALLY!!! ONE DOWN ONE TO GO!!

We are still sick, i finally went to the doc yesterday, I have lost 13 lbs thanks to this illness, not exactly the way i wanted to go about doing it but not really complaining either. Sean has dropped a bunch as well and is home today again from school really sick. I got to school late b/c I had to drive the kids to daycare, he couldn't make it there and back. The kids are doing great and hopefully they stay that way!! Devon has yet to get it and I am praying he doesn't!!

3/20/09: Ok so our past 2 weeks have been nuts. Last WED/THURS, i was home with Megan being sick, throwing up and pooping... then she got better, I got it Monday thru Wed, had to go back to work on WED, Sean took off WED Thru FRI because Megan got it again on TUES and stayed home with me puking, Sean got it on WED-FRI. Its been a great two weeks here and poor Megan keeps spiking that 101 fever. If she spikes again today it will be day 3 of puking and fever and we will be heading to the doc to make sure she is ok and not dehydrated. Lucky little strong immune system DEVON, has yet to catch this, we assume that will start on Monday of next week and we will all repeat this process again!!! And AGAIN!! UGH!!!! Meg just looks pitiful!! and so does poor Daddy!!

3/12/09: As you can see I put up new pictures yesterday while home with Megan, I am home again today with her as well. She has been great all day and she has been keeping all her bodily fluids to HERSELF! YIPPEE for me! I have started thinking about the kids birthday party and when I could have it. I am thinking early August, like the 1st or 8th. Two things we would happily accept as gifts for the kids would be giftcards to Sesame Place (you can get the online in $5 or $10 amounts) or money towards Megan's gymnastics (which runs $35/month) Just two ideas for people who know they will not be able to come. We want to take the kids to Sesame place, but WOW that place is expensive!! $50 a person!!! Including the kids!! But I did look at all the fun stuff they can do there and they would have a blast. We would love to take them there!!! And of course Megan loves her gymnastics!!!! Just a thought!!

3/11/09: I am home today with little miss Megan. She started throwing up yesterday at Daycare and continued till about 9pm. Then started the liquid from the rear... Disgusting!! So she will be home tomorrow too. She is acting fine except not eating which is odd behavior for her. She was great at the doctor today too!! I'm just hoping Sean, Devon and I don't get it!!

3/7/09: Another weekend!! Megan has been upgraded from a Gymini Cricket to a Tumble Bear at gymnastics!! And it comes with a later time too!!! Megan, Nanny and I will be going this morning to gymnastics and will likely stop off at the diner afterwards like we usually do. Later today, Megan and I are going out to dinner with Aunt Kelly!! Megan is really looking forward to it. She has been talking about it all morning. Tomorrow if Devon remains on his best behavior I may be taking him to the open gym for gymnastics to see if he likes it too. Nothing to exciting!!

2/27/09: Yeah, its the weekend again! The kids are doing well. Devon is still doing pretty well with the potty. He goes by himself, everything!! Even shuts the door for privacy!! Megan has been emotional lately. Not sure what the deal is with that. She sits in time out a lot for fits, just until she calms down. Tomorrow is Megans last day for gymnastics. We will put her into the next class maybe in April, we just can't afford it right now. I will be bringing my video camera so everyone can see how well she really does. Megan also loves going to church now. She and I go every sunday, this sunday is Devon's turn. I can't stand bringing both by myself, I get nothing out of it then, so i will bring one a week with me. Hope everyone has a good weekend!! Hopefully I will get some pics up over the weekend and the new videos!! We have lots!

2/20/09: Devon has been dry for 5 days now!! All week!! We are hoping this is the start of something permanant but we aren't holding our breath. He has gone for long periods before but we are hopeful!! He's been pooping and peeing in the potty and he is soooo proud of himself, that's why we think it may be different!

2/19/09: HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE DAN!!!! WE LOVE YOU!!

2/18/09: I'm home from school today!!! There was a fire in a near by nursing home and they evacuated all the people to my school!!! SO NO SCHOOL JUST FOR ME!! Our roof blows off and we still go to school, but now we get a day off for this! OK!

The kids have been great, I have new pics and lots of new videos to get up!! Hope everyone can see them!!! Look for these soon!

2/15/09: Megan has become a whiz at gymnastics!! She will be moving up to the next level class next month!!! Check the new pictures!!

2/11/09: Been a while... Some new things are going on in the house with the kids. Devon now puts himself to bed at night. he goes potty, puts on his nighttime diaper, says goodnight to us, walks up the stairs put son his noisemaker, shuts his door and goes to bed. This has been a little hard for me to take. We read him his story downstair while he has his milk, then he is a big boy and goes to bed. I miss putting him to bed. I STILL HAVE MEGAN!! He has been teaching Megan so much. He can spell so many words and read quite a few now too. We now hear the lovely phrases of "OK, I'm going, I'm going!" When we ask him to move... my nice teenager in a 3yr old body! He has been an angel though for the past few weeks. Eats so well!! Megan is doing quite well too. Her molars are almost all the way in. She is such a big girl, loves to dress up and pick out her own clothes in the morning. Do not try to tell this child what to wear. She is a fashion goddess you know!! She picks her shoes...EVERYTHING!! She loves all her dolls and ponies. And if its purple... IT'S MEGAN'S!!! Don't even try to claim it as yours, its not anymore, its hers. Devon had two matchbox cars that were purple, well now they are designated as Megan's cars!! They have been fantastic lately. We are able to let them play by themselves now for quite sometime. They go upstairs and play in their rooms while Sean and I have some time to ourselves. its nice!! There are still plenty of "moments" with hitting and yelling, but at least it is now down to moments instead of constant!! What we are doing is obviously working! YIPPEE FOR TEAM PARENTS!!!

2/4/09: Things have been crazy around here so I haven't had much time to write. The kids are doing so well. They have adjusted to life in the house without TV (except Leap Frog) and whispering!! Its much quieter now! And calmer! Megan is getting all four molars at the same time just like Devon did, so she has not been sleeping really well. Devon now has time outs when needs standing in the corner facing the wall. Works much better, he hates it! He started not really caring about the sitting. Its really sad when Megan goes and stand next to him facing the wall and they both whine. Its hard not to laugh. Its like sympathy timeouts!!

1/27/09: HAPPY SNOW DAY TO US!!! Sean and I have a snow day and will likely have one tomorrow too since we are expecting another 2-4 inches tonight then Ice on top of it!!! Maybe even on Thursday we will have a delay!!! What a week. Today we sent the kids to daycare b/c it was just snow and onlylike 3 inches easily driveable. We wanted to enjoy a day together just the two of us, like it used to be on a snow day for once. We got some stuff done, went out to lunch, read a book, took a nap... great day!!! Tomorrow they will be home with us (we are pretty much sure we will be having another tomorrow!!) I still went to the gym this morning at 5am, thats where I found out school was cancelled. There was only an inch so I figured I really couldn't miss out on the gym! We are so happy little Baby Asher is finally home from the Hosp.! Welcome home buddy! Megan misses you terribly! Anyways, gotta go get the kiddos!!!

1/25/09: We said goodbye to Nanny yesterday, she has gone to spend time with little Asher. He needs his Nanny right now! I took Megan to the doc on friday for what we thought was an earache and fever and typical breathing issues, however she has the breathing issues but not that bad, and it turns out its just her molars coming in which can cause what feels like an earache to them and causes fever. So all in all she is ok, and Devon is exactly the same minus the molars. We have been having a nice weekend, the kids are great. Since taught them what calm means its like a differnet household!. All we do is ask Devon if he's being calm and if he says, no, then we ask what clam means and he will reply "SLOW AND QUIET..." and then he acts that way. Megan somewhat gets it, but we are working on her to say Yes mam or sir, instead of NO all the darn time! Love the twos!! Devon came out of te two's around 2 and a half and that would be March for Meg and I am soooo hopeful!!!

Some exciting things coming up... Sean is going away for a nice relaxing 4 day weekend with a friend down to NC, Nana and I will celebrate Vday with the kids, Sean and I never celebrate on the actual day anyways.

1/18/09: Its Sunday and we still have Monday!!! Thekids have been really good. Since we began the no running, no yelling only whisper rules of the house, things have really calmed down. Thank God! Theyhave only been allowed to watch Leap Frog dvds or their spanish ones, thats it!! We took away everything else b/c of the hitting and back talk from the two of them since New Years. It has changed everything. Devon is back to being his great little self, and Megan well she is sick so I will give her the benefit of doubt....

We realized today when Megan was sleeping at around 10am and all we had was Devon, how easy life would be with just ONE child!! WOW! I wouldn't even count it as parenting almost!! Devon went downstairs and played on his smartcycle bike for at least 2 hours alone! I read a book, Sean played on the computer, it was lovely! Now in reverse, Devon is in bed and Megan is downstairs playing with her castle and watching Leap frog Letters! ALL ALONE! So easy with one. You add the other then you get the screaming, fighting, hitting, mine, no this one.... yada yada yada! With one, as Bill Cosby said, you don't have that problem and if you do, there's a problem!!

Last night Sean and I started our LOST marathon to get caught up before Season 5 starts on WED. Tonight we are having pork loin and Nana is coming over for dinner too! Sean has soccer tonight.

I am proud of myself, I went to the gym all last week in the morning before work!! I plan on going this week too and als long as it keeps on working I plan on continuing that. Lost 3.5 lbs!

1/17/09: It is FREEZING HERE!! This morning it is 0 degrees!!! Holy Moly! I was going to write on here but now I hear two little people wanting some breakfast....

1/15/09: YIPPEE!! another snow day!! This time it is just for me!! The kids went to daycare and Sean to work (he had a delay) but I am OFF!!! Oh what to do with my day tomyself...hmmmm sleep maybe???

1/11/09: Odd weekend! Yesterday morning I had my exam to take and I was gone from 9am until 3pm, long time and my hand was killing me when I returned! Then Sean went to bed and I had the kids all evening. Sean went to bed at 3pm and is still there at 6am on Sunday morning!!! Tired little fellow! It is completely iced over this morning from all the rain. We have been dealong with many new issues this week andit has been a little crazy hence no updates. Devon went to soccer for the first time with Daddy, and well it did not go well. Devon has been hitting lately and defiant ever since we came back from Deep Creek. There was anotherlittle boy there that does these things and I think he just picked it all up from him. So this past week there has been no TV, timeouts are not more unpleasant, he stands in a corner facing the wall and there is only whispering/talking quietly in the house and no running!! We are like running a prison ths week but its really helping. I start my class tomorrow, and I am just hoping and praying for some snow this week.

SNOW DAY!!!

1/6/08: SNOW DAY!! Devon is sitting at the kitchen table and asked me "Mommy, whats in my tooshie?" Too which I said, "I have no idea Devon, whats in your tooshie?" Having no idea where this was going, he says,"pee pee and poopies" I had to start laughing. He says the funniest things lately. The other night he was on his play phone for the kitchen and he had "called" nanny, when she "answered" the phone he said, 'Hi nanny, (looks at me and says) its nanny mommy, then continues on with is conversation! Hysterical.

1/2/09: wE ARE BACK FROM dEEP CREEK WITH NEW PICTURES UP FOR ALL TO SEE. i MADE sEAN HIS FAVORITE DINNER TONIGHT FOR HIS BIRTHDAY. wE HAD A FABULOUS TIME AWAY AT dEEP cREEK AND IT SNOWED ABOUT 6 INCHES WHILE WE WERE THERE (NOTHING HERE OF COURSE), (oops caps lock, not retyping sorry) We went sledding with the kids, see pics!! Great vacation all in all. Just two days left till we go back to school, YUCK!
