Coen & Liam McCue

We had soo much to be thankful for this month. Daddy turned 30 years old and Liam turned the big ONE! Grandpa Tom visited and Liam demolished two pieces of cake somehow! On Thanksgiving, uncle Mike, aunt Ashley, and Ashley's sister came over and helped us eat a lot of food! The day after Thanksgiving was a record high of 74 degrees outside so Mommy & Daddy took us to the Denver zoo! What a blast, we saw all sorts of animals and we even got to see the sea lions do tricks! Then we got to help Mommy & Daddy put up all the Christmas decorations. We can't wait for next month!

Was a blast! On October 14th, I turned 3 years old and I had good friends and family to help celebrate. I got lots of good presents and the day wouldn't have been complete without a balloon fight! Mommy was crazy and ran 13.1 miles in the Denver half marathon on an injured knee....but she did it! We had so much fun ending the month dressed up as a spider and bat and going trick or treating with our good friend Caden and Mike and Ashley. Mommy and Daddy got to go out and dress up too!

September 2009 was so much fun. We didn’t have far to go to see the Colorado Springs Balloon Classic. There were great big balloons that floated in the sky and even dipped their baskets into the water! Mommy and her friend Stephanie ran in the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Awareness 5K at the Garden of the Gods. Go Mommy! Mommy also had a big Birthday Surprise when G’pa Eldon and Uncle Keith show up! Mommy cried… she said it was because she was happy.

August 2009 was a very busy month. We flew in an airplane to South Dakota for Mommy’s 10 year High School Reunion in Canton, and Daddy must not have had a good time because he had a headache the next day. The very next weekend we got to play with all of our cousin’s at Leah & Adam’s wedding in Santa Fe, NM. Mommy got bad news the next week when her Grandpa Lyle Larson died. Even though it was sad it was very nice to see so much of our Larson family. We miss you G’pa Lyle. After that we need a family cool-down so we all went to Water World in Denver.

June 2009 Daddy got surgery on his right foot on the 4^th then Mommy pretty much did all the work for a while. Mommy and Daddy celebrated their 5^th Wedding Anniversary together… they were kissing a lot… eeeww.

Wow! What a great week we had with all our family. First we played with G'pa Eldon and Coen chased rabbits through the yard while Liam attempted to eat the blanket he was laying on. Then Grandpa Eldon took us to see a Butterfly Museum where we saw all kinds of big, little, and amazing butterflies... a few even landed on us! If that wasn't enough we got to go see Mommy's G'pa Lyle & G'ma Charlotte and played with our cousins Steph & Morgan; Yipee!

The next day we went and stayed with G'ma Bev and G'pa Kurt. G'pa Kurt wasn't feeling so hot so we just played in Canton, but the next day G'ma Bev took us to the Washington Pavilion Kirby Children's Museum where Uncle Keith joined us and we had a BLAST learning all sorts of cool stuff... but it just felt like playing to us.

Pack it up and head to Watertown where we got to play with MORE cousins... on a farm! Coen got to help feed baby cows, see a REAL combine, get a tractor ride. And the cherry on top was then Molly & Connor came to play too! The next day Aunt Ann was the engine for our pretend Choo-Choo train that went all through the hotel we stayed at. Then we all got dressed up really nice the next day and our Uncle Mike married Aunt Ashley!!! YEAH!!! Coen was the ring bearer and Molly was the flower girl, and after the wedding Coen and Molly went with their daddies and the wedding party in the LIMO... and danced on a bar and took water "shots." Needless to say the party got started pretty soon after that. Whew... that was so much fun and Coen and Liam can't wait to see everyone again.

Over Easter weekend we flew on an airplane to Minnesota and got to surprise Grandpa McCue for his 60th B-day, and see the whole McCue family including some Hoegs! We also got to play with our bestest cousins Molly & Connor. Plus Connor got Baptized and mommy and daddy were Connor's Godparents. Wow! And, as if that wasn't enough the, Easter Bunny brought us a bunch of goodies. Yea! We sure do miss our cousins though... :( ... See you soon at Mike & Ashley's wedding !!!
