April 27, 2012- It has gotten pretty hard to keep up with the site! Sorry! Spring is here so that is really exciting. Kayla is back playing soccer and I am running around a lot. Mommy and Daddy call me a menace because I get into everything! I am fearless and have lots of bumps and bruises from my activity. I am starting to talk up a storm. I can say Mama, Dada, Geeeia (Kayla), Elmo, Dora, No No, Peesh (Please), just to name a few.
February 26, 2012- I just got my first haircut in the bathtub tonight! Mommy needed to get those curls out of my eyes....much better!
January 9, 2012- HAPPY NEW YEAR! I am sorry I have been so quiet lately. This week I turn 18 months old! Do you believe it? I am doing excellent. I just moved up to the Little Quackers class at Wonder Years Academy. I had to wait until I was really walking good. I started walking at 16 months old...my sister and I never got the hang of that fast as you can see! I am babbling up a storm and love to say Mama and Dada. I am trying to say Kayla but that is a tough one. I also nod my head yes and no and like to talk with sign language. I love to eat anything and everything. I am a big tickle monster and giggler. Mommy and Daddy say I am much more a a menace then Kayla was. I like to get into everything and anything. I am fearless. When I fall I get right back up and that includes the stairs.
Kayla is doing great in Kindergarten too! She loves her teacher Mrs. George and is very busy with Daisy Scouts, Ballet and Tap and the upcoming Talent Show at Mcginn. Her best friends in school are Kelsie and Leah. She also loves having fun with Wil and Alex on our street.
Just wanted to give you a quick update to fill you in on our lives and I will try to post more here in the new year. New pics upcoming too!
August 11, 2011- I am 13 months old today! Happy Birthday to Papa Jerry as well. Well the summer is starting to wind down. We still have some trips planned so I am looking forward to that. School is going great. I really like my new teacher Miss Cathy. I am beginning to get comfortable standing and Mommy doesn't think it will be long before I start walking. I am eating great and liking sippy cups. I am still the best sleeper in the world. Heading to LI this weekend for family parties so I can't wait to report back. Talk again soon!
Jul 11, 2011- I AM 1 YEAR OLD TODAY! Can you believe it? I am so excited for presents and cake and milk instead of formula. I cannot wait for mine and Kayla's party this weekend. I am starting to lift myself up and I am crawling like a crazy woman. Blowing kisses, waving, clapping and dancing are my specialties. Mostly, I just love being a 1 year old. I have my checkup later this week so I will update you on my stats. Later!
June 23, 2011- Today I graduated from Wonder Years Academy! I can't believe I get to go to Kindergarten next year. I am so excited to go to McGinn. I am still doing camp at Wonder Years over the summer so I get to stay with a lot of my friends a while longer. We will be doing water play and going on a lot of different field trips. I can't wait!
June 4, 2011- Today I crawled for the first time today. Mommy put me on the floor, saw me start, called Kayla and Daddy over and grabbed the camera and away I went. Soon after, I was in everyone's papers and magazines. Now the fun starts!
May 20, 2011- I waved for the first time today! I am getting so big!
April 1-May 17, 2011- 10 Months old! I am doing great at home and in school. I am now eating table food and I love to eat! I am getting close to crawling, but still may be a little while. School is going well. Like Kayla, I absolutely love it. I love to play outside and watch Kayla play soccer. Kayla loves playing with me whether it be just hugging me or holding me, we are the best of friends.
March 15-April 1, 2011- HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY and HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S DAY! It has been a crazy month of March. School is going great. I am sitting up on my own and getting closer to trying to crawl. I am eating up a storm, including Stage 2 foods, cheerios, puffs, etc...
Kayla is doing ok. She was in the hospital last weekend because of her asthma. It was very scary for Mommy and Daddy but she is now on the road to recovery. I stayed with Grandma and Papa for 2 days while Mommy and Daddy were with Kayla. I missed them a whole bunch. I gave my sister big hugs and kisses when I saw her again. Heading to LI for the weekend...can't wait to see the fam and show them how big I have gotten!
February 24-March 11, 2011- 8 Months old today! We have had a fun couple of weeks. I went to my first show in NYC to see Knufflebunny. We sat directly in back of someone names Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick. Mommy and Daddy thought that was cool. I was so well behaved that Mommy and Daddy were very impressed. Kayla and i both loved the show.
The next day we left for 5 days/4 nights in Florida. I was a good girl in Mommy and Daddy's lap on the plane. The condo we stayed in wasbeautiful. We spent a day at Magic Kingdom, a day at Hollywood Studios, we went to see a Mets Spring Training game, we have dinner with Cinderella and met a whole bunch of Disney characters. I slept a lot, but also went on a lot of rides. Kayla had an absolute blast and I can't wait to go back when I am a bit older. I think I will give a lot out of it then,
So, 8 months old. I can roll over, babble, jump in my jumparoo and exersaucer and lay on my belly and stretch upward. I really like cheerios, puffs and the food that Mommy and Daddy have given me. I am on #2 foods now. I like fruits and vegetables the same. Mostly, I love spending time with my family and big sister Kayla. She gives the best hugs and kisses!

January 18-February 24, 2011- Just realized that it has been over a month since I wrote! We have been busy here. In 3 days we are heading on a family trip to Disney and we are all so excited! Lots of great things happening with me lately. I can roll over, sit up on my own, eat stage 2 food, and starting eating cheerios tonight! I am 7 months old now and can do so much. At school I am having a lot of fun. I love to laugh and be tickled. Kayla is my best friend. She loves me and loves to cuddle with me. I am so happy to have her as my big sis!
January 12-17, 2011- HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA TONY! I had my 6 month old checkup today with Dr. Chu. I am 14 lbs, 4 oz and 24 inches long! The 15th percentile for both. My head size is in the 90th percentile. I apparently have a big brain (or just a big head like Daddy). Needless to say, I am growing like a weed!
I can now transfer things from hand to hand, start to roll over and sit up for a tiny second. I only liked rice but I am loving green beans. I am eating them all up. I also am now up to 8oz of milk at each feeding. This whole getting bigger thing is fun stuff!
December 28-January 11, 2011- HAPPY NEW YEAR! I am officially 6 Months old today! Time is flying by. I am teething like crazy. A drooling monster. I am starting to enjoy tummy time a lot more. I am now 14 lbs exactly. I actually got to try rice cereal for the 1st time the other night. I really liked it a lot. I am trying to find more time to write, but I have been busy growing. I will keep you updated after my 6 month checkup next week.
December 10-27, 2010- MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY FIRST SNOWFALL! Aside from having a little fever, we have had a great couple of weeks. Last week we had our holiday party at school! What a fun time. We had a lot of food and got gifts from our teachers. I also made Mommy and Daddy something special for Christmas. On Thursday, we drove to Long Island to Grandma and Grandpa's house. We had a nice Christmas. So many great gifts from family and Santa. My favorites are my tent, my Ariel dolls, my craft projects and my new electric piano which plays all different instruments including drums. Kenzie got so much great stuff too. Her exersaucer looks like a lot of fun! Mommy particularly likes all the new clothes we got. Love my new boots too!
It was a long weekend and we headed back before the snow really started. I have had a bit of a fever so I mainly am relaxing and playing with my new toys. Love napping in my tent! Very excited for January and 2011. I keep asking when they are going to get here and Mommy keeps telling me it is only a few days away. Can't wait!
December 1-9, 2010- Happy Hanukkah and Happy 8th Anniversary Mommy and Daddy! So, it has been a whirlwind first week of December. A little virus ran through our house after Thanksgiving. We all had a little bit of it. I recovered until recently when I had my first ear infection. I missed one day of school, but Amoxicillin seems to be doing the trick. The doctor said it was minor. I am not 11 lbs, 10 oz and getting bigger every day. I finally seem to be catching up to where Kayla was at my age which means I can wear much more of her clothes which makes Mommy and Daddy excited. Some things still have tags on them! I am laughing, giggling and smiling lots, I like to grab things, including hair. I blow bubbles and babble a tad. Mommy, Daddy and Kayla have begun teaching me a little sign language.
The holidays have been good. Hanukkah officially ended last night. We got lots of great gifts from Mommy and Daddy with promises of more for Christmas. We had family Hanukkah at Grandma and Papa's last weekend. All of us had fun and it was good to play with my cousins. We celebrated Mommy and Daddy's anniversary by going to their annual brunch at Liberty House. The waiters really loved me. It was so nice and we had a great family brunch. Our house is officially decorated for Christmas. The tree is up, the lights are on outside. After a slight delay (not by us), our holiday cards should be out by Friday. Can't wait for you to see them! We also just received our school pictures and Kayla and I look great, if I do say so myself!

November 12-30, 2010- So I haven't written in a while! The month of November was great. We had both of my grandma's birthdays, plus Thanksgiving! It was so good to see all of our family from Chicago and Texas. We had a wonderful time with them. We mostly spent time with them in South Orange at Grandma and Papa's house. We had turkey dinner at "Above" and the next day all of us hung out and played at a place called Funplex. We'll, I didn't play much. I slept. I am getting so big and I can't wait to celebrate all the holidays in December!
November 6-11, 2010- I AM 4 MONTHS OLD TODAY! I am now 9 lbs, 15 oz and 22.5 inches long. Dr. Chu is so excited about my growth. At my most recent checkup Mommy and Daddy told her how great I am doing. I have been sleeping through the night since 2 months old, I am smiling like crazy, cooing, giggling a bit....All great stuff. I got two shots, which weren't fun, but then again Mommy and Daddy also got flu shots so it serves them right! My next checkup isn't until January! By then I will be eating real baby food!
October 19-November 5, 2010- Sorry for the big delay in writing! I forget sometimes. Things are going great at home. Halloween was so much fun! I was a cheeseburger and Kayla was a princess mermaid. We had our parade at school on Friday after our party. Grandma Hanie came and it was a lot of fun. We showed her all around our classrooms. On Sunday, we trick or treated with the neighbors for 2.5 hours. Kayla had a blast, while I mostly slept in my costume as I was wheeled around in the stroller. Everyone throught I looked so cute! I really enjoyed my first Halloween!
