Another summer ahh peacefull, well sort of. This summer daddy is staying home with the two boys while mommy works. It is a different kind of experience for everyone involved but we are surviving and tyring to enjoy the weather. The whole family went to Lake Luzerne this summer. Gabe went for a litte longer than the rest. He spent 5 days with gramma and papa and then 5 more days when the rest of us went up. I think he would live in the sand and at the beach if he could. Gabe and Noah loved the water and splashing around. Noah did not want to venture out deep but gabe loved to go out in his life jacket and swim in the deep water. They both enjoyed kayaking with papa and eating gramma's cooking. We are just trying to relax and soak up as much sun before the weather changes and school for everyone starts again! So we did not get a chance to update before christmas other then pictures. we had a wonderful christmas and santa was good to everyone. Noah is going to be the next basketball star thanks to santa. he is always playing basketbal and is pretty good at it! we have had to raise the height 2 times already since christmas and it is just march! Mommy got a GPS which she loves and uses all the time in her job. Both boys have fully adjusted to day care and really enjoy it and are learning so much! Gabe got his first "report card" and he can do almost everything on it! Noah can count to 13 and is learning shapes,colors and letters as well. Noah just turned 2 and Gabe is 4. they play very well together and are usually good to each other. Gabe has changed his name and he is now buzz light year of the star command and we live in sector 12 of the gamma quadron according to gabe. The easter bunny was good and brought many buzz light year things and candy! Mommy is finally done training with work and is now a full fledged Child Protective Investigator. Mommy really likes working and the work is very challenging and worth while. Daddy went for the third season of coaching JV boys ball undefeated he has won about 60 in a row but whos counting !!! Things are good and we are looking forward to spring! wow what a busy summer! Gabe and noah had ltos of fun playing in the yard and jsut hanging out! Gabe and Noah also love swimming and hanging out with Grandma and Papa at lake luzurne! Gabe even got to go camping for one night with Aunt Marcy, Uncle John, Owen and Allison! Mommy also started a new job this summer. She is working for Yates County Department of Social Services. Gabe and Noah are adjusting to day care and mommy being gone but its been somewhat turbulent at times! We had a fun day at the pumpkin patch although Gabe had a hard time choosing pumpkins and wanted to take home all the pumkins.Gabe will be turning 4 soon! i cant beleive it! Hopefully we will update before christmas again! Noah turned 1! i cant beleive that my baby is one already! we had a nice little family/neighbor party/dinner for him and he loves his smash cake! Bob has had 2 undefeated seasons in basketball in a row that gabe and Noah both like watching! He is now coaching baseball and gabe is liking running the bases with his "older boys" we loved the little patch of spring that we had and enjoyed being outside and playing at the playground! Gabe is now potty trained and loving being a big boy! We are looking forward to the warmer weather when we can be outside! Gabe and i are planning to start a vegetable garden this summer if i ever get around to tilling the ground and narrowring down what we are going to grow! i will post more pictures later but here are there professional ones from 1 yr old and 3 yr old Gabe is having so much fun watching tons and tons of basketball. Daddy is coaching jv basketball and has a record of winning 39 games in a row! gabe loves to go in the locker room and giving high fives to all of "daddy's basketball boys" he loves having them over to his house for a pizza party! Daddy is going to coach j.v baseball and Gabe is lookingforward to being in the dugout with daddy on some games! Noah is taking his first steps about a month ago and is such a big boy! he eats just about everything he gets and loves people food! he adores his big brother and loves playing with him! He will be one in just about 2 months! I cant beleive how big he is getting! Christmas was a blast! we went to Marcy's and her families house and spent the weekend there! Gabe and Owen had so much fun playing together and Santa visited along with his reindeer! Gabe was so excited to see that santa brought him some musical intstruments (we are hoping that Santa remembers mommy and daddy get headaches next year as gabe plays for us every night as loud as he can) and he recived a play-doh table too! Noah got a new booster seat so he can sit at the table with us and a few other things as well! We had family pictures taken of everyone! We havent gotten any snow this year yet and this makes Gabe sad as he wishes he could build a snowman but it makes daddy very happy! Happy New Year everyone! Well its been a while! Noah is almsot 7 months old! he is getting so big!! He weighs almost 19lbs. He is still not sleeping the night through unless you consider 430 am a good time to get up! Gabe has started pre-school and is loving it! He goes two days a week for 2 hours each day! He is gearing up to go see the Wiggles in Buffalo in a couple of weeks with his papa! He is going to be a scary lion and Noah is going to be a chicken for halloween and gabe cant wait to get "chocolate candy and lollipops!" Gabe is very creative and loves to paint and sing and dance! He cant wait to see his cousins and aunt and uncle who are coming to visit soon! We will post more pictures shortly! We have had a pretty busy summer! The boys and mommy headed to Lake Luzurne for a week in july where we got to see Aunt Marcy, Uncle John, owen allison and gramma and papa! Gabe loved the beach esepcially digging holes and rolling in the sand! he also had no fear of the water and loved swimming! Noah on the other hand does not like summer and i think is looking for the cooler weather of fall as he breaks into rashes in high heat! We also went to WV to see bobs family for a long weekend in the beginning of August. It was good to see them as we hadnt seen them since last christmas and might not see them again till next spring or summer. We have had lots of fun enjoying our first summer in our house. Gabe loves the yard and playing in it and he loves our neihgbors. We do manythings with our neighbors and enjoy it. Gabe starts pre-school in the fall 2 mornings a week in Penn Yan. Its hard to beleive that he is that old! Thats all for now more later! Gabe and Noah enjoyed a visit with their cousins and aunt marcy and uncle john. They had so much fun playing, especially Gabe and Owen. Mommy was hoping that by seeing Owen use the potty Gabe would want to try but no luck! He has no desire to pee in the potty! Hopefully Soon!!! Noah is doing just great! At 2 weeks he already weighed 10lbs 14 oz! He is such a big boy! Now if he would just sleep well we would be all set! Gabe and Noah both love to go for walks. We try to go when daddy gets home and go watch some sport at the school! Gabe loves to watch baseball. Noah is just checkign them all out to see which one he likes best! Hopefully soon Noah can meet Bob's family and gabe can go back down to see them! Noah is here! Finally!!! Well he came a day before his due date! Mommy went to the drs early on the 22nd of March and was set to be induced the next day. She got back to grama and papas where she and gabe were staying for a couple days and started having contractions and her water broke! She arrived at the hospital at 1 pm and Noah was born at 503pm! Much easier 2nd time around! We were discharged 2 days later and are settling into home! We are slacking a little and didnt even have christmas pictures taken this year. I just posted his 2 yr old pics for your enjoyment. Gabe is growing up so fast! he recently switched to a big boy bed and is doing so well with it! He is very into music and throwing balls around. He recieved a piano and microphone for christmas and sings super loudly while banging on all the keys! He has talent! Gabe knows many colors and how to count to 4. He lvoes to spend time with his papa and asks to call him every day. I am now no longer working and will be staying at home with the two boys for a while. We are busy getting everything ready for thenew baby and painting his room for him. While mommy cant wait for the new baby (which we have decided to name Noah Douglas) to come, Gabe needs to be convinced otherwise and has decided he would rather have a puppy then a brother. The next time we update will probably be after Noah is here! Wow so much to update with since it has been a few months since we have updated the site! The first big news is Gabe is going to be a BIG BROTHER. Mommy is due March 23rd 2006! Gabe is excited but doesnt really know what is going to happen. Gabe is growing so much and loving almost everything he does! He is getting tot he typical 2 yr old stage with all the style and grace that temper tantrums allow! He just spent a weekend away from us staying with Papa and Grama and loving getting spoiled! He has had his first Horseback ride and loves horseys so much! Another big change is that we bought a house and should be settled soon in the bustling town of Dundee!! The house is only a block away from where bob teaches and gabe will get to have his own nice big room! Thats about all for now! Hopefully i will update with more pictures soon! We went to visit Gabe's cousin owen this weekend for his big 2nd birthday party! Gabe had so much fun and he loves to hug his cousin!! We also had his 18 month check up and Gabe is taking after his daddy as a kid and is small baby! He is 21lbs 6 oz and 31 and a half inches tall! The dr said that gabe is talking so well and is doing very well! Bob is almost done with school and is looking forward to spending a week with gabe while gabes daycare is in semester break. Then the last push comes for grad school, hopefully leading to a graduation in august! Gabe had so much fun today! we went to papa and grandmas today. It was so hot outside that papa ran through the sprinkler with him! he thought it was tops! He also got on a bike with traning wheels and insisted onbeing pushed around the yard/driveway on it! His feet didnt hit the pedals yet but soon! 
Gabe is just getting so much bigger! we went to see his cousin Owen and his Aunt Marcy and Uncle John this past weekend. He had a blast! He loved playing with his cousin. They went to the petting zoo and to many parks! Gabe learned all about Thomas the train and The Wiggles from his cousin! We are going back in three weeks for Owens 2nd b-day! Gabe is growing up and fast! he is moving to the toddler room at day care. The day care is gradually transitioning him up. yesterday he brought home his first piece of artwork! it was a finger painted shamrock!! it is hanging on mommys wall at work! he is a little spitfire , especially when he does not get his way! He is such a happy guy and loves to spend time with grama and gramps! he is looking forward to seeing his aunts and uncles in west virginia and a very brand new cousin that was born on sunday! Have a happy easter. 2/21/2005 - Gabe got his first hair cut a week ago. He got a certificate and he got to sit on an elephant! he didnt seem to mind it at all! He is growing up so big and strong! he is starting to climb all over everything. He finally adjusted to mommy working and loves day care! 2/1/2005 - Gabe started Day care a couple weeks ago and is loving the chance to play with kids his age! Mommy has gone back to work after staying at home with him for a year! She misses her cuddles and snuggles during the day but makes up for it at night! now if Gabe could just sleep past 5 am!
