 One more thing....

All 4 girls had head lice!  What an intense, laborous, and rigerous process.  I had no idea.  We are officially lice free!  We are going to try and keep it that way!
I feel I have earned EXPERT status as far as "nit picking".  The pro's are.... my house has been deep cleaned daily for the past 10 days, I got to wipe my schedule and spend 1-on-1 time with each girl.  The girls loved watching all the movies via netflix!  We are going to celebrate by going to the McWane Center!  Wahoo!

What a week.   So much to think about.  My heart has been very full and very empty.  Lots of drama.  First of all I have reflected on how wonderful my life is and how blessed I am.  I have loved reflecting on "my biggie bump size".  Stephen has been the best thing that has happened to me.  We have had a great year.  We are very much on the same page.  I love how openly we communicate.  He is the man.  I love him to death.   I am so happy.
The second thing that has been on my mind is this baby.  I am SO excited to see her and have her be a part of our lives.  Tears run down my face anytime the girls and I have the music turned up and we are dancing/ cleaning.  I know she is going to love it here with us.  I feel like she is so exicted to be a part of it all.  I have been pregnant for 272 days.  That is a world record for me.  It will most likely be 274 days by the time I am done.  I feel I have been very strong up until this past Monday.  I could understand why the doc sent me home when she was 17 days early.  I got through the week on pins and needles but very ready to show up 10 days early with a baby by the end of the day.  The doc looked at me very clearly and said, I guess I will see you on Friday (to be induced).  After the door closed I could not hold it in any longer.  Crocadile tears came pouring down my face.  I was so sad.  A person can only be strong for so long.  Stephen gave me the best hug afterwards.  It felt so good.  I am so excited to have her here.  I am so glad she is healtly and strong.
Well, between being pregnant, watching the olympics that are being hosted in Vancouver BC, I cannot help but think about my Grandpa Cowley.  First of all he would be so proud of Canada!  He would know every stat on every canadian and he would know be sure to point out the metal count of canada vs the US.  He was a very proud canadian citizen.  Also, he past away 1 year ago on the 20th of February.  So as I have been feeling bad these past few days feeling my body soften to get ready to have a baby, I cannot help but remember seeing my grandpa just 6 days before he passed away.  His body deteriorated so quickly.  I find it hugely significant that my body is falling apart to bring life.  I feel a new sence of awareness that with death, Heavenly Father also brings life.  I feel so much hope, that as my heart is sad that my grandpa is not here anymore, I can look at this new baby, move on and watch her grow.  Grandpa, I love you and miss you and for that I am going to look to the future and watch this baby grow.  Love you xoxoxoxoxoxox

Grandpa would have been so happy and proud to see all the red in the crowds in Vancouver during the Olympics. At least he got a little extra time with baby Sadie before she got here. So happy for you, Stephen and all the girls! LIfe is a wild ride.

Stephen and I just celebrated our 6th Wedding Anniversary!!!!

Here is an excert from the letter I wrote Hermana Norris this morning.  I thought I would share.

Well, Hermana Norris, I always think about you this time of year when Stephen and I celebrate our anniversary!  You are the master mind behind Stephen and I getting together!  Our anniversary was yesterday!  Stephen is so thoughtful!  He got me this nice flowers, a day off work before the end of the year, and platinum diamond earrings!!!!  Every girls dream right!  Well, for me it is a lot more meaningful.  You cannot just go to a store and buy a pair of earings.  He had to get them custom made.  I cannot wear jewelry especially earrings.  (my body is very allergic to all metal).  So he had to get the stud, the back and the front (everything that touches my ear), custom made in platinum ($$$).  So needless to say I would never dream of such a gift.  I have not worn earrings since I was 14.  So watch out world.  I am going to be the pregnant sweatshirt lady who looks like she is going to throw up (due to pregnancy) wearing georgous diamond earrings!  I am so excited.     Some of my favorite parts of receiving this gift was seeing stephen.  He just kept saying you deserve that and more and thank you for being everything to me.  I love that everything in our marriage is custom.  Nothing is cookie cutter or out of a box.  I feel we work so hard to do for each other exactly what the other desires.  It is really important to each of us that each other is truly happy.  Whatever it takes.  Most of the time, I need a good listening ear (he is the best).  I know for him, he loves a hot cooked meal right when he comes home from work with a clean house.  We have great communication, which I LOVE.  I feel there are a lot of people out there who do not share what we share together.  I am so lucky!  Thank you Hermana Norris!  I will always be grateful to you!  Stephen is the BEST!  He has changed my life forever!  I will always be thankful for everything he has brought to my life.

Wow what a week!  We had such a blast having the Farnsworth Clan drive all the way from.... Utah and Colorado to spend Thanksgiving with us.  When they arrived they were pretty wiped but ready to go.  They immediatley starting passing footballs and frisbees in our side yard.  You could tell they were excited to get out of the car!  We showed them around the house, starting at the front door.  Then we went through the front room, playroom, kitchen, family room, down the hall and to the bedrooms.  It was fun to show them around.  We also pointed out the door that Ryan and Rose got us when they visited.  (thanks guys, we missed you!!!)  Then we showed them were they were staying and started making taco soup.  A nice hearty meal to soothe all the fast food stops.  We all pooped out pretty early... 8'oclock I think.  Thanksgiving morning a crew headed out to fish.  The girls stayed back and took warm showers and started dinner.  Kylee and Li-Ann both got new doo-s thanks to the girls.  I went on a wild goose chase to find an open store for a few necessary items.  We set up dinner and ate at around 5:30?  We had appitizers out the wazoo.  Brie, with grapes and crackers, chocolate covered pretzles, cheese, crackers, pickles, sausage, chips, veggie platter, shrimp, mints, carmel and chocolate covered popcorn.  I learned how to host a Thanksgiving and I also learned how to put on a whole dinner on my own.  It was really neat.  I learned the ins and outs of making a turkey, a ham, sweet potatos, brussel sprouts, and pies.  Lot of work.  One of my favorite parts was everyone was together helping to get it together.  Li-Ann did the mashed potatos, Mimi did the pies, turkey, ect, Kylee did the rolls (YUM!) and I ummm... made sure I knew how to do everything.  Oh, I set the table.  Friday we got up and got a lunch packed and headed to the lake.  We all got to take turns fishing, eating and riding in the boat.  There was also a really cute place to picnic and swing.  NO fish.  I guess they did not like the huge hunk of ham on the end of their poles.  We took them past the old house, saw some neighbors, stopped at hamburger heaven for a shake and headed back for the bowl game.  The girls went shopping.  That night we took them by the Norris house and Stephens office.  By the time we got back we hung out and relaxed.  They packed up Sat morning and  bagged 72 bags of LEAVES!!!!  I am so thankful for that!  That would have been so hard for us to do on our own!!!!  All in all we had a fabulous time!  We felt soooo loved that they would travel all that way for just a short time!  Thank you!!!!

Haley has been so excited to turn 5.  She loves the idea that she can go to school.  As I was telling her that it was her day and we could do what she likes, she said, mom we cant go to the McWane Center.  I asked her why not and she said, because I will be at school!  She then asked if they were going to give her a backpack in the morning.  I must say it brought a tear or two to my eyes.  I told her that it would be several months before she gets to go.  We tried to smooth things over by saying that we get to do a lot of fun things because she is not in school.  So here is how her 5th Birthday went.  She woke up to a groggy redition of Happy Birthday from Stephen, Heidi and I.  When she went to go find the birthday hat, she found chocoate cereal, some new spoons, a boa, make-up, yogert (the good kind) and princess place mats.  She was excited to try and read the banner that said, Happy Birthday Princess Haley.  After breakfast we got ready, and I mean, got ready.  The girls all dressed up in their favorite princess dresses.  Kate included.  Then we did up-do's complete with glitter and tons of hair bows.  We painted fingers and toes and did make-up.  She talked with Mimi and then we were off for her fun filled day.  She wanted to go and say hi to grandmother who took her on a mini shopping spree.  She also got to meet up with all her girl cousins.  I saw a lot of grinning from ear to ear.  Trust me I think she was glad she wasnt in school that day.  Then Stephen called and said we could take her out to lunch.  Well, to Stix we went!  What a yummy place and I was so glad they had a lunch menu!  We invited Faye, Patrisha, Audrey, Elena, and the boys.  We had a faboulous time.  I even heard Haley say that this was her "best day".  She loved eating with chop sticks, sitting next to her cousins, and watching the guy make the food.  At the end of the meal they brought her out some icecream with a cherry on top complete with a candle.  They put on a cute hat with a braid and took a quick pic.  Her eyes were huge when they were singing to her.  I think she loved it.  Faye invited us over after to check out the girls room (pink and purple) a must see for a princess like Haley.  We played and had a great time.  To finish off her night she chose a movie from RedBox.... Dora Super Babies Ulitimate Adventures.  Just before the movie started Luke, Josh, Leah, Jake and Claire all came to sing to her and drop off a little gift.  She fell asleep on Stephens belly.  Well, Haley we sure love you!  You have made our lives happy and bright.  We are so thankful for all you do for our family.  You are GREAT!  We love you!!!!

We had an adventerous week.  I have reciently suffered a severe burn on my wrist... ouch!  Steam hurts but I am slowly recovering.  Haley said to me the other day, mom i just lost some of my tooth.  I started looking around in her mouth to find that she had lost half of her molar.  Ouch!  I was suprised she hadnt told me it had hurt earlier.  When I took her to a local family dentist, he showed me all the decay.  He said my option was a pedieatric dentist or an oral surgon.  I set the appt with the pediatric dentist.  When we arrived the dentist informed me that the tooth was savable, she would need a root canal, and a crown!!!  I asked them to take more pics of her teeth, and they found 1 more place for a root canal and a crown and 2 cavities.  I was slightly in shock.  When I asked what was the problem, he asked me if I flossed her teeth.  I dont know about you but I had no idea 3 year olds needed to floss.  He immediatly started the root canal and crown.  I was glad, it only took him about 45 minutes.  Haley was such a trooper!  I was totally conflicted on weather I should give her laughing gas.  Any opinions?  I ended up giving it to her but most likely wont in the future.  I don't like seeing her in a loopy state, I like seeing her how she is.  It did not releive any pain.  The first thing she did after she was done was look in the mirror at her droppy face, she thought it was funny to see half her face smiling and half her face straight.  All in all we have committed to be better at flouride, floss and brushing.  Sorry haley!

Jill, I didn\'t know Haley was only 3! How far apart are all your girls? You have a whole cheerleading squad!

Oh, she is almost 5, sorry that was confusing. I was supposed to start flossing her teeth at 3 to prevent all the decay and the 2 crowns/root canals. I had no idea.

We are so excited for our upcoming little girl.  The girls first reaction was, but dont we need a brother?  They were quickly excited when I told them they could dress her up and feed her a bottle.  I have loved see how each girl has reacted.  Haley has said over and over again how excited she is. She has been carrying around a little pink outfit saying she cant wait and that she is going to be soo tiny.  Heidi is not sure what to name the baby but hopes she has red hair like her.  Kate has been so excited.  She has nodded her head yes anytime I ask her if she wants to hold the baby.  She also trys to lift up my shirt to see the baby....
I am also exicted.  When I went into my appointment I thought that I was close to 12 weeks.  I wanted to make sure that things were in the safe zone before hearing a heart beat.  The morning was a little stressful, dropping the kids off at a babysitter, and getting downtown pretty quick. They told me they tried to rescheudle my appointment but I got no such phone call, just a confirmation call.  I insisted that all I wanted was to have the ultrasound and could talk to the Dr. next time.  The ultrasound lady was oh so kind.  I told her how far along I thought I was.  She started poking around and said..."honey you are much further along than 12 weeks.  You are about 16 1/2."  So then I quickly asked her, so can I find out what I am having?  She poked and prodded a little more, and determined that it was a girl!  With my other girls it seemed somewhat clear that they wernt boys.  Well, this little one had the ambilical cord right between her legs.  So needless to say I was a little hesitant at her prediciton.  She seemed pretty sure though. We are excited to have anohter girl.  Stephen is even excited.  He is such a great daddy of little girls.  They really shower him with kisses and hugs.  He is also an expert at thowing the girls around to prepare them for cheerleading, dancing, and singing.  Following the quick appointment we headed to eat some burgers and fries at 5 Guys.  It was delicous.  Now because of my nervousness we had not told anyone that I was pregnant.   This breaking news was going to be alarming to not only us but to everyone around us.  We loved hearing peoples reactions.  It was fun telling that I was pregnant and having a girl.  I have decided that this is a girl, with all the drama surrounding her annoucing.  We love pink and we love girls.  Now we just need to come up with a cute name!

You may wonder why the Canadian Flag is our background.  Li-Ann the newest member of the Farnsworth Clan is a fellow Canadian.  She was born and raised in Vancouver.  We are so excited to have her in our family.  Her and Nate make a great couple.  We fell in love with her when we met her.  She is a warm and welcoming person that makes you feel comfortable when you are around her.  She also knows what a garbarator is.  Weldome to the Family Li-Ann!!!

Kate is growing so fast.  She loves to twirl, clap, kiss, say "Hi-di", blink, and scrunch her nose.  Heidi is speaking very clearly.  Haley can type and write her name.  She also loves calling Daddy, Mimi and Wapa on the phone.  She often leaves them messages wishing them a safe drive home.  I love my cute little family.  I am truly happy.  Stephen is the best.

"Smoke Garbage"  So this is a story that I hope I never forget.  Haley said while we were driving in the car the other day.  "Mom, that man is smoking",  she went on to say how gross it was and how it was bad for our bodies.  Then she said that he was going to be smoking until he found a smoke garbage.  She thought a little bit more and said.  "Mom if he does not find a smoke garbage then he is just going to keep it in his mouth.  What a very observant little girl.

Heidi's favorite word is "awesome" which is pretty cute coming from someone who is so calm and quite.

Kate is over 9 months.  She has 2 teeth.  She is crawling like a champ.  She is cruising the furniture and starting to let go and stand by herself.

I wanted to let everyone know.... We have officially moved in! We passed inspection and less then 6 hours later we were moved in. A big thank-you to ALL who helped us while we were in transition. We are thank-ful to Mom and Dad Norris who so graciously allowed us to come and stay at their house. We know it is not easy to have a family of five come and crash for 3 months. Thank-you to Don and Mindi who also kindly kept an eye on our children while we stayed there. Thank-you to Rachel who let us use her room. It was such a perfect space for us. Thank-you to everyone who was so excited for us and helped us along the way. Thank you to Jeffrey and Dad for letting us use so many of the tools. At 7:00 the other royal guests arrived. The princes dressed up. At around 7:15 we announced all the princess and had a ball. We danced to the Enchanted CD. The daddy's danced with their daughters and couples and siblings and families danced. It was sooo cute! Then we had cake, icecream, and presents. Thank-you to all who participated!

What a whirl wind... we have had such a great time working on this house.  Well, I guess if you ask me I say it is great.... I pick out the paint, appliances, vanities ect.  If you ask Stephen (who is doing all the work) you might get a less excited response.  We are almost done.  We hope to be in by Thanksgiving.
Life has been going great.  The girls had a great time at their birthday party.  We were excited to have Mimi here for the Royal Ball.  It was magical and I think every little girls dream.  Thank-you to all who participated.
We had a great Halloween.  The trick-or-treating was so much fun this year.  The girls really got into it and had a great time with their cousins.
Life is going well.  We are soooo blessed!
Also Stephen  is officially a part of the  Alabama State Bar. We headed to Montgomery watched Stephen take the oath.  I have high hopes for my babe.  I think he will be a great lawyer.  I know he is actually anxious to put on a suit and dress up.  He has had saw dust in his hair and paint on his skin for the past 3 months.  Thanks for all your hard work babe!  You are the best!!!!!
