Happy Birthday Jilliebean!

03/28/2012 - Jillian lost her first tooth today!! I can't believe it, I can remember entering in that she had gotten her very first tooth, now it is gone. =) It has been loose for awhile now and finally last night in the bathtub she pulled on it just a little...... and out it came! It is her bottom front right, I actually think it was her first tooth to come in. She was so very excited and couldn't wait to put it in the Tooth Fairy box that Grammie Pat gave her! She went right to bed happily awaiting a visit!

10/08/2011 - So I was working a volleyball tournament today at West View High School and the Fam came to see me. It only took about 10 minutes of watching the high schoolers play when Jillie turned to me and said.. "Mommy... I WANT TO PLAY VOLLEYBALL!!! " She was so excited and ready to go! Sigh.. she is so awesome!

10/04/2011- So today was Grandma Marianne's brithday and we went to a new restaurant in Oregon City. I was so proud of Beaniebear she tried so many new things tonight! Although the Katsup was a homemade version and was very strange! Awesome thing though was they had fresh chocolate chip cookies, so yummy they stick it in the oven with you order it so it comes to the table hot and melted! Jillie made her way through about half before she glazed over and said she was full! It was awesome!

09/17/2011 - We had a soccer double header today! Wow tireing, but let me tell you Jillie did amazing! She scored a goal in both games and was a little trooper, the teams we played we really good. I will put up pictures very soon!

09/06/2011- Well by baby girl started 1st grade today! Can you believe it? I was just starting this site when she was born and now... she is in 1st grade. She had a wonderful morning, and almost could not sleep last night she was so excited. She laid out her outfit very carefully and must have checked her backpack four times. Finally she asked if she could sleep in our bed because it would help her sleep. We said yes. =) She had a great breakfast of sausage and blueberry waffles, and promptly said that she would be ok until her first big girl lunch at school. Made my heart happy.

We got to the school and she was vibrating with excitement to see her friend Katie, who was sitting accross from her, and begin all the fun things the first day would bring. She put her stuff in her cubby, checked her mailbox, and than sat at her desk and began her assignment.

How time has flown by, and how very happy I am to see the little girl she is growing up to be. I love you my Jilliebean.... my little first grader. =)

08/25/2011 - Jillie helped Allie take her very first steps today! So sweet and loving... it reminded me of an old video I have of Brian and I when he was that age and I was trying to help him walk. although he had a really big head and it was hard to keep him upright! lol It was a lot of giggling, falling down, and almosts. Yet finally she did it she helped her baby sissy cruise around the living room.

07/31/2011 - Jillian stayed at mom's last night and had a blast like usual. Than today mom and Jillie went on a bike ride around Canby... ended up being 8 miles! Yup Jillie's first offical bike ride,(other than around our culd-e-sac), was 8 miles! Go Jillie! She did not complain once. I am so proud of her!

07/18/2011- Jillian had Soccer Camp today! Yup totally surprised her with it, I told her we were going to go meet up with some friends and practice soccer so she had to get all her stuff on. Than we got there and I said "Surprise"! She was so excited and did really good! I saw some of the drills they were having her do and she was catching on so fast. I am so very proud of her!

07/17/2011 - One more of Relay has passed. I am so very very proud of Jillian!! She walked just about the entire time! She started walking about 5 ish than finally went to sleep around 12:30am. At that point she had walked most of the afternoon and managed to walk 8 miles!!!! Yup 8 miels!! She did not complain once... she even met an older girl and they walked around together for a while just chatting it up.

07/11/2011- Jillian rode her bike without training wheels today!!! It just took a few trys and off she went. She was such a big girl when learning too, she would fall over or off the bike and just get right back up and back on. My big girl =) She was so very happy when she did it too, it was wonderful to hear her laugh and be so excited. We started easy and I held on to her handle bar while she rode, than after thinking about it... I put my hand under her armput so she could control the bike on her own and get used to it. After a few times up and down the street I slowly lowered my arm and walked next to her, than stopped walking. She would realize she was riding all by herself and giggle! It was amazing. My little girl is growing up.

06/19/2011 - Happy fathers Day daddy! We had a wonderful weekend at Pappa Dave's Cabin and first thing Jillie did when she woke up was run over to daddy and give him a huge hug and say happy fathers day. We also got him a card where Jillie & Allie could record a saying to him. We even got to watch a new movie Twister, and have a fire outside in the firepit and roast S'mores. It is also where we realized that we all like the smaller Marshmallows than the oversize massive ones now. She had a wonderful evening and a great weekend. Spent a lot of time on the swing nextdoor and playing with the dogs.

06/13/2011- Well my baby girl Graduated Kindergarten today. I can't believe how fast this year went by! She rode her bike to school today just like she did the very first day of school. When she came home we had some flowers, a little gift, and yes.. a chocolate cake! She was so surprised and had a really good evening! JIlliebean is growing to a young girl... I am excited to see her grow, but it is sad at the same time.

05/27/2011- Jillie took it upon herself today to make her very own invitations for a playdate on Friday at her house........ Now, mind you, she did not ask if this was ok with us, nor did she say which Friday. She still made them up taped pencils to them and handed them out today. I am now awaiting 20 different phone calls asking about this "playdate". Hopfully the few that know where we live won't just show up tomorrow.

05/25/2011- Jillian watched Harry Potter tonight. She liked it! I was not sure because she seemed a little young, but I think the first couple were not too bad. I know they got much darker as they went on.. so I think we will stop around 3.

05/19/2011- Jillian got to go Rollerskating for the very first time tonight!! It was wonderful! She was not scared at all about trying it out, and even after falling multiple times she just kept getting back up again and again. She got really good at catching herself on a wall or table after awhile. She spent a lot of time in the beginners area geting used to the skates. It brought back so many memories watching her. She was so happy to have a bunch of her classmates there as well, (it was PTA family fun night).

05/12/2011 - So it begins..... Jillian came home today and informed us that there is a little boy at school who has a crush on her. His name is Camden..... she told us that she did not like him because he is a boy. So cute! Ahhhh can't it stay that way?

03/24/2011 - We just got home from an amazing family vacation! We decided it was time to take a little trip to the coast. We drove down on Tuesday to Newport and stayed at the Embarcadero. It is where we used to go a lot when I was little. We kept it a surprise from Jillian until we pulled up to the coast in Lincoln City and got out. The smile on her face was fantastic and I will never forget it. We than drove to our hotel, all the while Jillie would not stop talking.... Jillie was so super excited that she had her own bed with a view of the bay and the bridge. We spent the next few days going to the beach, the Oregon Coast Aquarium, and had super yummy food! On the way home we stopped at the Yaquina Bay lighthouse and went all the way to the top! Jillian made sure that everyone was aware it was 111 stairs, and she did it twice! We all had a blast and enjoyed the much needed family time.
