As another year comes to a close, we wanted to wish you all a joyous and successful new year. We could not be who we are without our members!

It is no surprise to us that a baby has been used for hundreds of years to symbolize the celebration of life in the new year. The tradition of using a baby to signify the new year has roots in ancient Greece. Baby New Year remains a popular symbol and turns up at celebrations even today. He is a cute and chubby baby who wears nothing more than a diaper and a sash across his torso that shows the year he is representing. Local media still try to find the first baby of the year and the lucky infants are normally showered with gifts. Babies always bring hope and peace to all of those lucky enough to love them!

We are excited about the suggestions being left by members on the Talking About Kids message boards. We will be working on many new features in the coming year, please stay posted as to there progress.

Thank you for your support and may all your loved ones be safe tonight.

Happy New Year from all of us at Baby Homepages!
