Update 11/01/2010 - Michael has entered Kindergarten, he's struggling a bit with all the structure (he's such a busy boy sitting still for any length of time is a challenge), but I'm sure he will adapt eventually. Michael greatly enjoyed his birthday, Halloween and trick or treating was just ok....but he loved his costume! Update 7/16/09 - Michael successfully completed his first year of preschool and is enrolled for his second year of preschool in the fall (his birthday misses the cutoff date for kindergarten). Michael has really come a long way! Update 7/9/08 - Our little boy is growing up, Michael will be starting preschool this fall! Where does the time go? Update 3/10/08 - WOO HOO, Michael's spoken vocabulary is growning daily, our prayers have been answered yet again, we're so blessed and very thankful! We are still attending speech therapy twice a week and will begin some other developmental therapies soon, life is beginning to resemble "normal"....LOLOL Update - 11/2/07 The spoken words are coming slowly...but they are coming. We now have "help", "mama" "dadee" & "no", unfortunately we've had to change speech therapists so we'll probably lose ground due to the change. Michaels signing vocabulary is around 100 words and we're working on small two &...
Update 10/12/07 - Well we had to wait almost three years to hear Michaels first word and he has already used it very creatively. We were in a crowded parking lot heading into a store and he didn't want to go in. He's pulling away from me, I'm pulling him along behind me and yep.....the yells out his first word. Wow I was blown away and so relieved to see the pictures of your son. Although we lost touch when he was born, he and your family have been on my mind often.
