Ryan and I met in high school in a foods class. I was a freshman and he was a senior. I had a big crush on him, but because of the big age difference we didn't get together right away. He graduated and joined the Air Force. A couple of years down the road I wrote him a letter explaining how I felt about him. He called me and I told him about a trip I had planned to take to Florida. He was stationed at Eglin AFB which was about six hours from Orlando, where I was going on vacation with a friend. We talked about him coming to see me, but I still wasn't sure if he'd make the drive, he did and we hit it off immediately. We talked about moving in together and I did as soon as I graduated, seriously like the day after I graduated!! About a year later he proposed. We set the date for October 5, 2002. He then got orders to go to Lajes Field, Azores. We had to get married early so I could go with him for his two year tour. We got married on January 14, 2002 and went back to Wisconsin for our planned wedding with all of our family and friends. We've been happily married now for almost seven years and look very much forward to spending the rest of our lives together with our beautiful family that we've created. We could't be happier!!!!
