October 21, 2006 (21 months, 5 days old) - Matthew caught his first fish. It was a small perch. Granpa helped him reel the fish though... my aby's still too young to do it. =) Anyway, he loves to fish... everytime he wants to go fishing he goes "fishing day". my silly baby. hahaha.
September 3, 2006 - Happy 23rd Birthday Tita!
Matthew had fun blowing her Tita's birthday candle. He is so ready for his 2nd birthday. Time really does fly... 4 months to go and he'll turn 2. Can't wait, i already have plans for his party and this time it'll be more fun than his 1st birthday party. ;-) Hopefully his dad will be able to come home for his big day. He will be going to San Diego 1st week of January for his Recruiting school. ;-(

Today is my Grandma's birthday. Me, Tita, and Mommy went to pick her up from work at noon. I fell asleep in the car on our way home and when i woke up i said fries. We were already close to the house but Grandma told Tita to turn around so she can buy me fries. My Grandma loves me so much!
That night, we took her to Ah-So. We all had a great time. The food was great and we enjoyed the chef's show while preparing our food. He was very entertaining!

I took Matthew to a dentist yesterday for a check-up. They said he's starting to get 4 cavities in his front teeth. I don't know why he would get cavities when i always brush his teeth and plus he doesn't really drink juices. Well, the dentist said it could be from breastfeeding him for a long time. And he also said after breastfeeding him in the middle of the night we're supposed to wipe his mouth  with a clean  washcloth. But I didn't do that. I was too tired to get up and wipe his mouth. So that could be the reason why. Bad, bad Mommy. ;-(
He has an appointment in November to take care of it. I'm anxious. Theyre going to sedate him. I wanted to put him sleep when they do that so it it be a terrifying experience for him but it cost a lot. I guess they have to do it in the OR. And our insurance will not cover the facility which costs about $1600. So, i guess we'll try the sedation first and see how it goes. Poor Matthew.

Grandpa bought me another present. This time he got me a cowboy hat. Mommy said she's going to buy me a cowboy shirt, a scarf, and a rocking horse. Yeeeehaa!

Happy Birthday Grandpa! He is so cool he bought me a cowboy boots. It's still a little big on me but in few months i'll be able to use it. I'll be posting pictures here pretty soon.
02/15/06 - I put Matthew again in his potty seat this morning. This time he did both... he peed and pooped. I was very happy! I called his Daddy right away to let him know about his son's achievement. Ü
We also went to the stork club today. Boy! Matthew was terrorizing all the small kids. He want all the toys for himself. It was embarrassing! The nurse said he's already at the stage where he wants everything to himself. She told me to just reassure him that what he's doing is not good and he learns to share with other kids.

Happy Birthday Mommy! Also, i'd like to greet everyone a Happy Valentine's Day! Hope you all have a great time with you love ones. Mommy and Daddy didn't go out this time. They know that there are going to be a lot of people in the restaurants. So, we celebrated Mommy's birthday at grandma's house instead.
02/12/06 - I was surprised today when my son opened his bible storybook and pretended to read. He gave me a big smile when he saw me looking at him and he continued reading although this time he was whispering.

Happy Birthday Uncle William!
I put Matthew in his potty seat and after few minutes he peed. I was really proud of him! It won't be long and  he will be able to tell me when he has to go potty. Can't wait!

01/28/06 - We attended Kaiel's Birtday party. I wasn't really feeling well but I still had fun!
   
01/17/06 - Happy Birthday Matthew! Wow, I can't believe his already one!
01/11/06- Matthew has been walking non stop. He usually walks for few minutes then crawl but today he didn't even crawl. Uh-oh! Our son's now officialy walking!
01/10/06 - Matthew was really happy to see his Dad back from work. He screamed and ran to him.
01/07/06 - I took Matthew to a daycare (drop-in) for for the very first time. He was so happy to see other kids. He didn't even cry for me as I was leaving. Can you believe that? Around 9 pm I got a call from CDC telling me my son won't stop crying and is looking for something they can't give him. I stopped cleaning the house right away and went on base to pick him up. When I got there I was surprised to see my son's lips... it was purple and a little swollen. The lady that works there told me he was trying to reach for something but he was too far so he fell and hit his lips on the gate. I was a little upset because when they called me they didn't tell me about the incident. :-(
I'm not sure now  if i'm still going to take him to that place. That's the first accident he's ever had.
